Who can CET and KOL be if they are DLC characters? None of them match of any MK character and I can't think of any guest character that would fit them. Maybe KOL is The Kollector which can be a brand new character.

I get where you're coming from, when it comes to MK I feel the same way lol, there are a few surprising omissions here (for me Shang and Takeda but who knows there are still missing spots), and I know Jacqui would be bring a mountain of salt from the Jacqui hate bandwagon, and we still got he Kombat Pack, though in this gaming climate I agree with BBLP in that someone is going to throw that narrative out there.

It probably wasn't meant to be leaked like that if they did.
Steam db has also been how it was found out on the Dishonored reddit that Dishonored 2 was getting a standalone addition.
As always, though, take everything with a grain of salt.

As for the list, if real, I'm wondering if the reason why Sub-Zero doesn't have the ice clone in MK11 is because Frost may have a move similar to it?

Were there articles like that about Guile/Akuma/Sakura/Balrog/Sagat/Blanka being DLC for SFV? I mean, there probably were a couple out there (there's always someone complaining about everything) but I don't think there was the kind of outrage you are implying there'll be with MK11.
There was A LOT of other stuff to complain about SFV at launch though, so maybe they just weren't paying much attention to the roster lol
 
My hype just died. I never usually complain at all about the roster but so far it has been a huge disappointment. They started real good and promising. Unless there are additional slots added to the select screen
 
At this point all i want is Rain. It will be a crime it they listen to Jade and Skarlet fans but not Rain fans who have been treated the worst. Same goes to Fujin over Frost
 
I could see 1 more slot like with Goro and the “?” box in MKX for Shao Kahn in MK11, but I wanna say that 25 is the final count unless the hidden characters don’t count.
 
DLC for Pack 1 will probably end up being like this at this rate:

Fujin
Noob
Sindel
Spawn
Terminator
Micheal Myers

3 MK fighters and 3 guest fighters make sense to make it even. MKX had two MK fighters and two guest fighters for both kombat passes. If we get a second Kombat Pass, maybe we can see Havik, Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Doomslayer (Doomguy), Pennywise, and Robocop. I want Sareena back, but I feel like her chances are super low at this point.

SFV characters could be unlocked for free in game.
MK11 has no such option. Honestly I can only see these articles happening if Mileena is dlc. Noob and Ermac to a lesser degree.

This roster is okay with me. No Noob, Cyborg, Shokan or Reptile really hurts to be honest. Kabal is an amazing addition, but I can't help but feel MKX launch roster vibes all over again unless there are some ither freaks hiding in the back.

Also as much as I like Jacqui, having her in over Mileena or Shang is an outrage. People hated her, like legit Hsu Hao hated her.
 
I have seen some theories of TER being Nimbus Terrafau. He was an April Fools from EGM, I'm not sure if NRS can use him or not since they never made him in the first place.
 
While we may see one or two articles, I have a feeling the hate won''t be as strong as games like Blaze Blue and Soulcal got with there DLC, I think at least Jade will keep some of the fires down. Honestly I think this roster is an improvement over MKX(which in the end I didn't hate all that much), sure it's missing a few here and there but it is shaping up to be a pretty diverse mix instead a heavy SF focus like last time.
 
I would like to know what Mercies are going to be in this game since there's achievements for it. I really can't wait to see what it'll be.
 
It's important to note that it's Qloc handling the PC port, so maybe they put in the achievements without considering first or they could have put in these as joke achievements to throw us off ( I like this roster but I still need to hold some skepticism here).

The new 3 characters i think are part of the roster and Shao khan is part of the 25 roster so this only leave us with one unknown spot

Shao Kahn will probably be like Goro in MKX, with his spot added later on as well as the “?” random spot also being added.
The build of MK11 could be an early / older build, given that there are now more stages as well.
17 stages in the reveal and 21 in the latest reveal.
