I'm real curious as to what Boon considers to be "fan favorites". Because the majority of the fan favorites ARE classic characters.
 
I don't think we should hang too hard on Ed's words here, since while this does seem to lean more trilogy (and possibly 3D) characters, we don't know the full extent of it, plus keep in mind there are still klassics we already know about that they haven't officially shown off yet (Kitana, Johnny Cage etc.)

As long as he also means some 3d characters are in i would be very happy but if he means like Jax and Mileena then i would take mkx characters.
 
It was important to make a statement about Shaggy BS.

Only this way ppl would stop this nonsense. MK isn't a joke.

Once again, Shaggy is a great Hanna-Barbera character, but not MK. They had to say it also these Youtubers clickbait stop this BS.

People are almost like those who are saying Ultron was in the last trailer. C'mon.

Edit: This sweet and delicate roundhouse on Dynasty was absolutely satisfying.

Kotal's chances are solid, if only because it'd be stupid to have him as an NPC given that he's Emperor.

I'm not feeling that Fujin will make it. I think Rain's chances are surprisingly decent, though - NRS know people were pissed he was an NPC in X, and he does seem to be on some of the menu artwork (??)
 
There's no way Kabal's mask isn't one of his gear options. So it makes me wonder if his Human Skin is either a Premier skin that you can't customize, or if he has a gear option where he can remove his mask, even on his burnt skins.

His mask is definitely going to be one of the gear options. Guess there will be a solid amount of masks, his MK3 mask for sure as well.

Glad to see D‘Vorah, she looks damn good. Guess the female from Thursday is going to be Kitana.

Definitely this. We've already seen that Sub-Zero has a mask-less "mask." It stands to reason that every other masked character will, too.
 
Also going off Kabal's voice, I feel it's a bit off too. I wish it was a little deeper. Also with his smartass dialogue he really reminds of Redhood
