On social media (in general) people can just be toxic with “if X isn’t in I’m not buying,” and it’s annoying that it feels like the vocal minority who threatens not to buy if their favorite isn’t in is who they’re catering to for MK11.
Like you I’ll get MK11, regardless of who’s in, but I just hope that they haven’t discarded the remaining 7 MKX characters of that some can come back.
I think that characters like Takeda, Jacqui, D’Vorah and Kotal Kahn could also benefit from this whole custom variation thing.

The only good thing that came out of the Reiko Incident is that it was a lesson for all to see in what lines you absolutely do not cross. That alone makes threatening not to buy the game over such and such a character look extremely minor. At least not buying the game isn't a crime, let alone a felony.

That Kollector's Edition is hella wack too. I'm no stranger to spending dumb money on MK. I just preordered a $400 Sektor statue, but 3 hundo for an ugly mask? That's ridiculous. And unless I'm reading it wrong, I don't think it even comes with the Premium Edition of the game. Most games give you steel casee and dumb little coins just for a regular ass Pre Order. That mask is def not worth $240 imo.

I wish this was just some kind of non sense comment, but how could I disagree? I never saw arguments in favor of MK9 female designs that didn't sound perverted or that defended the obligation of MK to have virtual characters dressed as porn actresses for the sole satisfaction of horny eyes.

I remember the closer MKX got to be released, there was a mass discussion here because some users were complaining about boobs not shaking in the game. Apparently MK9 was better because boobs had movement and you could see more skin of a digital character.

I've only seen the fatality where he makes their limbs come off, brings them back to the body and then blasts it again, did they show the other one?

The difference I see is one looks like a porn actress, the other one, like a well designed character. I have never seen an argument pro MK9 designs that haven't touched into the sexual part. Every argument that disses MKX is always about boobs having movement, curves, so I always wonder if we are discussing game characters or real people. I mean, Kitana obviously has muscles as a woman would have. Mileena has a better face, a better story, better moves, so what's the difference? That she doesn't look like a porn actress. Well, I agree her tournament outfit is bad, should be like Kitana's and look closer to MK9, but in the bottom of it, it's always about showing off something, and I seriously feel no atraction by a character this way. Maybe a little more teenager, or seeing someone cosplay, but this? Not a chance.

Also, I always remember that I raged when I had to beat in my other account MK9 tower and after that 300 what I get? Mileena in toilet paper so fappers could wank until controllers were glued dry. So this is going far IMO.

When it comes to man, I think MK9 designs are horrible compared to MKX. Look at the muscles on Liu Kang

I may disagree with all of these redesigns having to do with a game being good or not, specially because I'm a story first player, so that's what I care first, then gameplay, so I certainly wouldn't support any critics that take this over anything, still, many started considering MKX bad for the exact opposite. So once again I say, every MK9 defending argument always go for sexyness, something extremely subjective and should be total second plane (if not a third).

You definitely used "realistic" hence my reply. There is nothing realistic about MK, not even in MK11.

That's not muscle, that's fat tissue. Their pancake asses are obvious and shows no squats were made in their life time. Look at that massive head, no curves and lower arms looking like toothpicks. She looks like a 12 year old cosplaying, not a 10,000 year old warrior. Do not bring up renderings as they use very specific lighting setups and alterations, we're talking about in game models. In game models look like this. Pure garbage, nobody in their right mind would call this realism.

MK9 models look like Fitness Models, MKX models look like skinnyfat midget girls doing cosplay. I'm not going to touch on males since they all have problems of their own, and I've already given a good overview in my previous post. I think that's a good enough reason why so many female cosplayers prefer MK9 iterations, and not MKX. It's part of fantasy that makes MK, well, MK.

Also I like how you are calling for "practical outfits", less "strippers", but then go ahead and post a picture of that ridiculous, completely unpractical Kitana's suit. The only vital part (her heart) that armor should cover is wide open, while everything else is covered head to toe. Do you not see the inconsistency in your logic? :lol:

"Strippers" (stop using that word dude, or go to an actual club, they look nothing like strippers) were always part of MK. I understand changing others who would benefit from more "practical" suits, or providing alt costumes for people who get uncomfortable looking at sexy video game characters, just for diversity sake. That's fine. What I cannot approve of, is when an artist WANTS to make something sexy, but then some corporate dickhead goes ahead and pushes his political views and does not approve. That's textbook censorship and not something I support. You give these jackasses an inch, they will take a mile and never, ever stop.

Apparently Skarlet's redesign is part of her rebranding. She no longer has that absorb through skin shtick.

Lol this is comedy gold. I didn't even suggest I hate anyone for having a different opinion to me, I said people like YOU have a problem with others having different opinions, which you clearly do. People can like what they want, and you might hate what they like, but that's ok, it doesn't make them wrong. And I'd argue it's good to have people calling developers out when they do something bad, but to say people like you are good for this community is laughable, it's people like you that often make me want to leave the community

People usually are pretty chill with the prices on Ebay if you find yourself too late. Only charging about 1-200 more bucks than regular price. It's still steep, but it's better than most scalpers.
