MKX DLC: what did you and will you buy?

I know that Sektor, Cyrax and Smoke were cyborgs, but Triborg (despite the name) isn't really them, is he? It also said on the reveal post on YouTube that we were getting 'Robot Smoke' as a character. I thought that these character variants were robots who could (somehow) morph into one another... I dunno, despite the name I just never thought of them as actual cyborgs.

Yeah, I didn't care for Tanya's fatalities in MKD. They were so bland and had nothing to do with Tanya. They could have been given to just about anyone. Hell, even the one where she slices and stabs the opponent with her tonfa-blade, that was supposed to be done with a naginata, so it could just as well have been given to Hotaru or Sindel...

Welp, hopefully NRS decides to move onto MKXL the week before so that we get the patch and The Pit a little earlier. ;)
 
Does anyone know if preordering the XL digital upgrade gets you those bonus Cosplay skins? Or does that only come with preodering the whole XL physical copy? :???:

Digital, also.

Check the XB1 store for a list of most of what's in the XL edition. The Cosplay skins definitely are.

Thanks. PSN store is a bit vague though (I'm a PS4 user btw. ;)). They're only giving you the option of pre-ordering KP2 ($19.99) or the entire XL Edition ($59.99); no option for an XL digital upgrade if you already have the game--and no mention of the Cosplay skins either. :|

You definitely get them. On the XBL store you can see individual content packs included, and Cosplay skins is one of them. It's the same on PS4.

God knows why you want those, though.

I'm a completionist, I'd like to have all the content/costumes, even if they're "meh". ;) So to get the Cosplay skins, pre-ordering just KP2 is the way to go? Or it has to be the whole XL Edition ($59.99)?
 
There's a $29.99 XL edition for those that already have the game that should become available to download digitally, as well.
Why it's not showing up is weird, but there are supposed to be 3 versions of it..... KP2 / XL / MKXL
 
So let me get this straight.... The XL pack is for people who have the game.... But none of the DLC that comes with it? So it contains KP1, KP2, and all the other random DLC released?

And then there's KP2 for the people who have been keeping up with DLC for the game, right? So it's just the four new characters and some skins?
 
Not gonna lie, I'm gonna be mad salty if any content is exclusive to XL. That's taking it too far.

It's complete BS for someone to get more content for $60 than I did for nearly $120.
