Who's REALLY interesting in KP2?

I'm hoping we will get characters who didn't make it to MK9, to make a really unique roster, Netherrealm Studios has potential for a gold mine with characters like Fujin, Reiko, Bo Rai Cho, Sareena, Li Mei, Havik etc...

The only problem with MKX is the NETCODE. If the online was smooth than this game would never get old, but people are sick and tired of dealing with it. I say we start it now. NOBODY buys any DLC until we get a real Netcode patch. Just imagine it, if they released the new KP2 and didnt sell any of it because of the netcode strike, they would have to fix i!!!! lets do it!!

Will never play again, It had a mix of what I liked in the past, mixed with the shit I hate in Injustice. and at the end of the day. I just don't like it.

Also, fawk kung jin's Neutrual jump punch. It can eat a bag of dick shaped bananas.

curious what traits did it have from injustice that made you quit it

cause i'm starting to feel like i'm on the same boat as you (playing it seriously)

I'm going to guess 50/50's. It's a common complaint I see for the game. One I have too
Could also be lack of dash blocking, but I don't see that one as much anymore. Mostly because zoning is pretty weak in this game. At least in comparison.

Are there being an assload of Option selects still in the game?

Mostly what BBBLP said ByrdBrain but add on dash cancelling into attacks being taken away.

How do you feel about Stamina in this game? I peronally really like it. Adds even more the meter management system. You have to alter combos after breaking or special cancelling because you can't run anymore.

I actually like the Stamina as well. One of my favorite additions. And to be fair to MKX team, you can still cancel a run into a normal if you want it's just a lot more technical than it was in MK9, it's like every character is kabal now.

i notice a lot of people bored with the game. imo they released a next gen game that just dosent have enough content in it to keep people playing. there should of been more stages, more vs options other than 1vs1, more characters from the start rather than adding them by dlc later.
bad online servers is obviously a big part in why people loose interest but personally i dropped this game because the classic MK atmosphere just isnt there, like purple skies, deadpools, pits, spikes, y know just that really great atmosphere that makes MK unique, and tons of stages to go through, stage fatalities all that cool shit just wasnt there in MKX
MK9 had the right vibe and just enough content to keep people playing for a good lengthy time, it was a true return to form something exiting for classic fans and newcomers.
MKX was too many steps either backwards or in the wrong direction, it looks and feels very bland and generic lacking the soul of what makes MK unique among other games, it just looks like all those other games so its getting lost among all those other games.
It just didnt stand out like MK9 did.
and just adding new kombat packs wont solve that, the damage is done and people are done with it.
i just hope they take all that on board for the next game and create a new MK that goes above and beyond what MK9 did not 10 steps backwards. its possible

MK9 was nothing more than a nostalgia trip for people stuck in the Trilogy era, and I'm glad that MKX got away from that a bit.
Still has too much MK1 and MKII for my tastes, but that's water under the bridge.
I'm not going to bring that up again.
It's good to see 8 new characters (although I still would like to know more about Erron and Ferra / Torr), new arenas and a new story, for once.
A few more stages would have been nice, yes, but we are getting at least 1 new stage in 2016.
The problem is that the casuals want every single game to have all of their favorites in it, and if NRS did that and included every character in existence in it, then we'd end up with another shitty Armageddon.

The problem with Mortal Kombat as it currently stands isn't so much the game (because MKX an excellent step in the right direction, imo), but rather the entitled cry-baby fans.

You see?
NRS could make a base MK game with a good story and make the main playable roster customizable to each individual player, and people would STILL find a fvcking reason to b**** and complain!
They could include every single character, finisher, stage and gameplay style that people wanted for THEIR character of choice in an MK game and people would still fvcking b**** and complain.
Unfortunately, we live in a self-centered, belittling, asshole, snobbish society which feels the need to only have their wants heard and only what they want matters, and they disregard what others want.
As long as they get what they want, nothing else matters.
We saw perfect examples of that society in this very site, when Kitana and Tanya were announced and people resorted to name-calling and flaming because someone didn't agree with that character being in.
Seriously?
This is the fan-base that you expect NRS to make happy if a few characters are missing or cameos in the next game, in order to make space for new ones?

100% agreed. Though I hope next time around they feel more comfortable taking risks because it's not like they'd be able to avoid the complaining either way.

Rumor on the web (or at least on the PlayStation Twitch channel) is that SFV's release date is February 16th.

So, I'm guessing that NRS will try to compete with that date to start to have KP2 characters released.

You forgot to mention the jack@ss who threatened to rape their family if Reiko wasn't in. Seriously? Shave your f'ing neckbeard!
