About Jade's future

The main thing is no one stays dead in MK even quan chi falls into this category. (I think they have a special set of dragonballs) as for the endings alot follow the story and what if after endings. Alot focus on Shang tsung similar to Shao Khan controlling at least 3 in mk9 and haunting a couple others. Mileena could very well become a army for the next threat, it's not like she is a weakling like reptile or Baraka. Kung lao might be saved by kung jin, jade may have some effect on kitana we don't know Yet. Though I will say a lot of these endings focus on future events after story ending and make alot of sense. I wouldn't be surprised to see NRS following some in 11, since alot fit un like 9 that had everyone doing own thing and some made no sense.
 
I like that Jade's death has affected Kitana. We've seen that twice (Shaolin Monks). Maybe, she's the only one that didn't get transformed by Quan Chi by some random event. Maybe her soul is lingering out somewhere. Maybe it's near Kitana while she's ruling the Netherrealm, and maybe she's trying to make sure that Kitana doesn't fall to the darkside completely as Netherrealm's new ruler.

Who knows. All I know is that I have a few friends that definitely want to see her return. I am not a die hard fan of Jade, but I do like her character (despite that she was very annoying in 2011 with that constant "easy" bullcrap she kept saying). I would like to see her return whenever that might be.

And as I said before, as long as they completely ditch that stupid "mysterious woman" concept they had for her ending, I'll be perfectly content. And if she still has that damn woman corrupting her or whatever, please oh please make it something interesting rather than having it be completely dull and boring and goes nowhere... like it did.
 
I don't really care about Jade. I'd be happy for her not to come back. Don't care about Kitana either tbh.
 
Boring character + boring story writing = boring outcome. I've said it before, and p.W made a good point. Having some other new character take over will not solve anything. Why even go that route anyways? So they can say "look guys, we know you like Jade, so we put a character into your character so you'd get characters within one character!"? Unless they do a complete revamp, she's going to stay irrelevant. Like the majority of the cast. For example, give me one reason why Jade should take a slot over Nightwolf or Stryker?

Funny, that's how I saw Liu Kang. And Scorpion. And Johnny Cage. And Jax. And Sonya. And Kano. And a few others. You get the idea.

However, some of them, namely Liu Kang and Scorpion, got re-invented and put on a different path, made interesting again. And that's what some of us would like to see happen to Jade as well.

And no, no one should have to justify why they would want a character to return over others. Especially not to someone who has already made his very negative mind of it. ^^

You don't like Jade and don't want her to return, and that's alright. That's your opinion and you can have it.

First off, stop putting words into my mouth. I've said it before. Jade was one of my favorites. Unfortunately she happens to be one of the most irrelevant and underdeveloped characters at this point. In the sea of other underdeveloped, irrelevant and simply forgotten characters. But I don't see threads being made about them for some reason.

Great reasoning about...reasoning. In that case I want the entire rosters from all the previous games back. Because screw you, I don't have to explain! :bird:

Didn't know you liked Jade. I don't really follow your posts, I just reacted to this one.

There's a thread about Jade, because there are people who'd like to see her return and find her important enough to make a thread about her. Maybe fans of those other characters just don't find them important enough to do so. And I'm not speaking importance as to the franchise, but personal importance.

And you want what you want, and you're right, you don't have to explain anything. Screw you too. ^^

Alright, you heard the guy. Create more threads with your roster wishlists for the next game, put as many as characters as you want, and don't even bother to explain why.

Why are you being so rude and hostile?
Sure, if people want to make thread about those characters and discuss them, then they should do so. I'm just making the observation that they haven't.

Second, misogynistic depictions of a character prove nothing (except the creepiness of those who revel in this kind of thing).
 
I'm fine with Jade not being on the roster because I give zero fuks about her inclusion. I just wish they would have given her a cameo in story mode or explained what happened to her. But they didn't AT ALL. They did the same to Sheeva and Cyrax. But Sheeva isn't mentioned, seen in anyone's ending (Jade), or given a player-card background (Cyrax). That's just cold.

I'm not a fan of any of these characters. I just wish they were properly included in the game. Mainly because Sheeva and Cyrax didn't die last game, and because they included the other revenants but not Jade.

Also, Baraka's death was simply b.s.

She has more potential than Stryker and Nightwolf. She has a huge fan base too. Most likely even more than Tanya, Li Mei, Sareena, Frost, and Nitara. She's my number one over Kitana and Mileena. That woman in her MK9 ending gives A LOT of potential for Jade to have a MAJOR role in the story of a future MK game.

Right so you'd prefer Jade over Nightwolf or Stryker for the simple fact that she's a female. Well, that's not sexist or anything! But at least it's a reason!

And misogynistic? I guess you're talking about that drawing I showed...Sure, if the roles would be reversed you'd be singing praises, but god forbid someone who's not a male gets fatality'd...The amount of patriarchy and oppression is insane!

Admit it the drawing was badass, that's how fatalities should look like. And they're quite popular too with that particular character, that's why I shared the simple, cold fact.

More potential? Every character has potential. What exactly makes Jade so much better character wise than them? In their defense, least those two are completely original characters, not devolved from a palette swap. I'd need some examples of this "potential" you talk about to get the picture. So far I see nothing but pitch black.

I said what I had to say about the woman taking over Jade. It blows. Ass. And I said what I had to say about her fanbase. If you want I can repeat myself a few times.
