Yes, but I'm not arguing that now, so again, what's your point of even replying the way that you did?
Much like the old timeline, this debate / trolling attempt that you are trying to strike up is pointless.
Winner... This guy^

Reiko possibly dies in the comic, as well as Havik, unless Havik escapes to Chaosrealm. The comic states that the Kamidaggers are the keys to obtain Shinnok's Amulet. If Mileena had the Amulet, Rain must have obtain all the daggers at some point.
I mean, am I right? The sentence "...united, their force will contain Shinnok." means that you must gather all the Kamidaggers to reach the Aumlet, right? I hope I'm not wrong.
After the Netherrealm War Raiden had some of the Kamidaggers (including the one Scorpion took from Sub-Zero). It means Rain stole them form the places where they were put. I assume Raiden collected all of them in some safe places but it turned out they were not so safe. It seems Havik is somehow defeated and the daggers aren't corrupted anymore. Also, Kano mentions the Kamidaggers have some connection to Quan Chi. We know nothing about this connection.
*In the comic Kotal (already as emperor) states that he's been at war with Mileena for 10 years. And he says so circa 5 years before Cassie defeated Shinnok. In the flashback in Story Mode (also "5 years ago") it's shown that Kotal overthrew Mileena more or less during Cassie's and Jacqui's abduction by Erron (possibly shortly before). So it seems Mileena is the empress after Shao Kahn's demise until "5 years ago" and Kotal becomes the emperor shortly before the girls' abduction.
*Also, why and when D'Vorah sided with Shinnok? Nothing about this.
So is Netherrealm kind of like the undead army of the Lich King from Warcraft? That they need a ruler to take over otherwise it'll be nothing but chaotic?
My boyfriend and I were discussing this ending and I'm just still a bit confused as to what killed Raiden. He, who has little to no knowledge of Mortal Kombat lore, told me Raiden is like the Arthas of Mortal Kombat. That the corruption he cleansed killed him, and he's kind of like the Lich King now despite that he's not a lich king at all...
If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about, is this kind of... right?
I thought this initially too. Raiden didn't die though and he's not a revenant. He's just "dark Raiden" (or pissed off Raiden if you will) that instead of being all friendly and defensive, he is now offensive to the other realms (but still Earths protector, he just does so by destroying other realms before they can attack). That's why he's wearing dark and has orange eyes (NRS should have made that different though cause he does look like a revenant). The jensei didn't corrupt him or anything, he's just angered by the constant attacks from Shao kahn, quan chi, Shinnok, etc.
And Liu Kang and kitana are the new rulers of the Neatherrealm, Raiden was basically telling them do not mess with Earth or hell mess them up too.
Hope that helps!
Commander Too bad they actually left Bi-Han's story on a cliffhanger.
Yeah, it felt like a big middle finger from NRS, and was 1 of the few things that I didn't like about story mode.
Not even a single "Hey, Noob's dead" or Hey, Noob's alive" cameo anywhere or mention.
The 2 mentions of Bi-Han from Sareena and Kuai were all in the past-tense, referring to MK9 past events and Mythologies.

Can someone explain to me what are Reiko accords?
Ooooooh ok I see now. When Raiden said "as the new rulers of the Neatherrealm" I thought he meant Liu, kitana and himself. He just means Liu and kitana are the new rulers and he's basically going on a "don't F with Earth" campaign to all realms. Alright I like this ending a little better now
From what we understand so far, they're a non-aggression pact between the various civil war factions. Can someone explain to me what are Reiko accords?
No, Rain did not get all of the Kamidogu daggers. At where we are in the comics, the amulet is imprisoned in an alternate dimension that the daggers are needed to unlock, and it's locked up in Fort Charles in the game. The Kamidogu are obviously going to be gathered and used to free the amulet at some point in the comic, forcing Raiden to relocate it, but they are not relevant to how Rain and Kano got it. Also, it was the possessed Fox who mentioned the connection to Quan Chi, not Kano. Once again, the comic will probably explain that.
My bad, I forgot that it was Fox, not Kano. But still, we don't know anything about that so far.
My point is that Rain durig Story Mode mentions that they obtained the Amulet because of his genius or something like that. IMO this implies that Rain was smart enough to use the Kamidogu to get the Amulet.
want to make sure i'm understanding it -- just finished story mode earlier today.
In the midcredits scene, with Raiden and Shinook's head, he says to the wraiths that they rule outworld now? What happened to Kotal? isn't Kotal still emperor now that Mileena is dead and Shinook is..."dead"?
Maybe i missed something in a cinematic...
