Can't say I'm a big fan of the tiny skeletal arms or Sub-Zero's ice mask, but there you go... can't please everyone all the time, and everything else looks awesome.

Shinnok is the man. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes my usual.

Agreed. I really couldn't believe how similar the first two variations were. I almost burst out laughing, like, "that's really it?"

Also, major kudos to the guy who thought of Erron's bullet deal where he has the opponent's name engraved on it. Sh** is brilliant.

That was Derek. So next time people want to give him shit for something on the stream, they should keep this in mind. ;)
 
I inserted Jax and Jacqui into the roster and we still come out with 2 empty slots on the roster.
Plus the story mode unlockable? Is this just me?
 
Speaking of Erron Black, notice how he only seems to wear his hat for the Gunslinger variation. Seems to be a visual indicator, rather than a part of his costume.

He also has it in his character portrait, though. And he's also wearing it in all of his story mode scenes we've seen, including when he has his Marksman rifle. It's weird they decided to take it off for two of his variations.
 
Yup. Its official. Im maining Erron Black. I love his moves, variations, and options. Not to mention I LOVE how the bullet has the opponents name on it. Freaking amazing

yeah i did the same.
since hand to hand kombat weapons like swords, sais, staffs etc have always been a think in MK i was kinda hoping theyd give liu kang a nunchuck variation.

maybe flaming nunchucks like dis
 
Disappointing designs for these characters in my opinion. Shinnok looks stupid as hell. He plays like a super hero. His skeletal hands look so dumb. Liu Kang looks like a generic NPC and his specials look like kreate-a-fighter. Erron Black looks pretty cool, but he is going to be absurdly annoying to fight against. He can zone while moving backwards as well as prevent people from running in on him. Sub-Zero's second fatality and Erron Black's fatality are both just the typical MKX eye puncture thing again.

I'm still excited for MKX but their laziness and lack of inspiration is definitely starting to show.
 
I love Liu's dualist variation. I may, for once, have to check out Liu Kang. Damn you, NRS!

Erron Black looks, as most predicted, amazing. Shinnok looks better than I ever imagined and will definitely be one of the first characters I check out.
 
I just noticed that Erron actually says "Happiness is a warm gun" in the fight against Kotal.

Hmm Liu has got the same punch flurry as Johnny's plus the load up. Same as Kung Jin's/Kitana's Boomerang projectile. They should have come up with something more original. And i don't like Liu's stance and his moveset is also not that original.
But hey Erron is very original and Shinnok...man i love that dude! Awesome!
 
I really like Liu's X-ray. THAT is a BRUTALITY! They got mini fatals as brutalities on here... Liu's X ray is a REAL Brutality! 15 hits!
And yea his duelist is the most unique one,.

Agreed, finally we have perfected Shinnok and he is just amazing.
