Official Friday March 27th Kombat Kast Diskussion Thread

I missed the last of Shinok and the Faction stuff, I had to leave work and missed it. I was really digging shinok from what I saw.

I'm not surprised Tyler won, he came super close last week with Kano. He obviously has nerves issues playing on a stage, hopefully this will let him get past that. Love the drama. :-D

Very cool, Erron Black rocks, he is so much fun, a very unique character, and Liu Kang has variations with wide combos and differences.

Shinnok is very good too, FINALLY HE IS BADASS!!!

IMO, Impostor was the best variation, but we have to say that they didn't show much of the other two, except a few powers.

But I must confess I was little disappointed to not see him in an intro and no fatality. His boss status keep going.

I've heard his voice. Sounded cooler than on MK9, at the least.

I think they want to steer clear of Shinnoks intros because they might reveal spoilers.
The fatality, Not sure why they didn't wanna show that.

Can a good soul post the link to the YouTube channel in which the full stream will be uploaded later? I just saw the final minutes.

Yay for Shinnok. More and more they show that they are able to do good stuff with characters IF they put some effort. They probably could make Hsu Hao a cool character if they wanted now, but nah... just killing him is better and satisfies Kid Boon.

What changed with Shinnok other than the last one with bone hands? Quan Chi looks even more intimidating imo, but I guess they want Shinnok to look dead. This is why I would've liked fully white eyes that glow, would've made him look awesome!

man. Erron black looks fun. Definetly not a character i'm going to main. But godamnit shinnok looks awesome. I don't want to have to learn a 5th character. I already have 4 that i'm dedicated to. :(

I'm just so interested in impostor and necromancer. Bone shaper is pretty sweet two but necromancer is kind of classic shinnok and impostor suits my style so much.

So happy tyler won. Mk mobile confirmed for next week. Really have to show off my boy soon. I'm getting a little anxious. I know he's playable. Just show something on kenshi already netherrealm. PLEA

Just type "Mortal Kombat X Stream" on youtube like an hour or so from now, and then filter it for videos uploaded in "The last hour" or "Today", that's what I've been doing since Stream #1.

Erron black sucked. Shinok looked bad also.

You be quiet. Black was so totally Sirius.

I didn't catch what they did to his bone variation, but his Imposter steals a move from the opponent and his bone variation gives him incredible reach.

I was so bugged when they didn't show any Shinnok intro or fatality.
He's my favorite Male in the franchise.
I guess I'll have to wait until the day the game comes out.

Yes, I was mad too

When I saw, before they mentioned, that they could change variation on training, I immediately thought "oh, no, you won't do it!".

:'(

Erron Black -

You know, I was not on the hype train with everyone back when he was first revealed in the comics. He certainly is an interesting character, probably just as unique as Ferra/Torr in my perspective. God does he remind me of Ocelot though when he's twirling his guns. His fatality at the end, and I'm not sure if others would agree, that sand hill that covers the lower half of the body eh... not really a fan of that, but I do like his fatality though. So he's a good one.

Liu Kang -

All right, not really a fan but I will say they did well with him. I especially love the light and darkness with the last variation they showed. His fatality is still one that is a bit too funny because it's Liu Kang however, I think it's cool to see him become more aggressive. The only weird thing is during the dragon fist (the first variation they showed) the markings on his face... I'm a bit indifferent with it.

Shinnok -

Nice to see some Shang Tsung elements are still with this guy. That's kind of an irk but I'm not going to make a fuss with it. However, I'm still confused as to how he's a necromancer when we have Quan Chi literally doing the same thing... I guess because Shinnok deals more with the skeleton hands, the title fits more with him? Thought they said he was also like a wizard. A necrowizard? Meh, I do think that the necromancer variation is his best one, the second being the imposter.

All and all, I thought this was a very awesome stream. I love how they're showing how they make the game behind the scenes... I kinda know how all of it works since I have a BA in it and have done some of them but... I like it. Can't wait for next week's stream.

Sure, thanks. Is there an official channel with the stream in HD, though? Or is it just people who recorded the stream via software?
