New Stream this Thursday - BRUTALITY!!

I don't like the name Puggles for the bat. It's not a batty name.

George or Carlos... One of those two. Not Puggles.

I'm sure a puggle is a crossbreed between a Pug and a Beagle, I don't know if it's something else.

I'd call it Margaret Tatcher.
 
I really like the way they've made brutalities and can't wait to see more.

And btw, let's say each character will get at least 3 brutalities and 2 fatalities....WOW that's 5 unique "BRUTAL" finishing moves.

Personally I love the new Brutalities. Id rather have these instead of the boring ones from MKT where everyone was exactly the same.

The only thing I hate is that it says ... BRUTALITY.... Cassie Cage Wins. It should be the other way around damnit!

I am also not a fan of the announcer either. He has no enthusiasm at all
 
i was not impressed. most people in the stream and on youtube seem let down too calling them watered down fatalitys, and i agree, they are a cool finisher but not exactly brutal

i Believe its possible to combine both the best of the original Brutalities and the New Brutalities to achieve something more impressive and deserving of the name, heres how it could go:

so sticking with the new method theres no 'finish him' announcement so you still perform your combo during the fight but then the second you stick the brutality command on the end the last hit of your combo goes into slo mo and the background fades to darker to signify somethings about to go down, then the camera zooms into your characters face as they turn super angry and the whole screen tints to red to signify the character seeing red, then they unleash a Brutal fast intense cinematic 12 hit combo and the last few hits go into Xray view to show bones snapping in wrong directions but are done with faster bone breaking animation than normal Xrays to keep with the fast intense pace then follows up with the fatality on the end

so its basically the same thing as the old brutalities you perform half the combo then the computer does the last half and it still takes up the normal fatality time so no long waiting but its more visually stunning and More BRUTAL since your litrally watching all the opponents bones breaking before death.

Thats the Brutality i vision for Next Gen

We get it, you're not thrilled with the new Brutalities. What you're asking for is tons of new animations, and with the game going gold in a month, that is just absolutely, positively not going to happen. You can stop asking. They're not going to change the choreography of 100+ finisher moves with one month to go.

The only thing I might prefer to see changed is if they were called Humiliations instead of Brutalities, because you're fighting with one hand behind your back (requirement) to be able to pull them off.

That's the kind of change that's still realistic with one month to go.

sorry for wanting brutalities to be awesome :/ and i dont expect them to change it now of course. but hopefully theyll up the anti in the next game. yeah theres 100s of brutalities but blink and youll miss em all.

hopefully next time theyll go for quality over quantity

I'm pretty sure that the "blink and you'll miss them" was a very deliberate design decision. Fatalities often get skipped over in tournaments, unless it's the last match of the BoX. Brutalities are over too fast to be skipped, guaranteeing that the match will end on a gruesome note.
