I 100% agree. But then again, I just love Arrow on The CW.

Ever considered the fact that perhaps that was a natural consequence of recent MK games (most notably MK9) dressing the females like typical strippers?

When did we turn into a bunch of prudes? That's not even any where near as filthy as Hustler, Playboy, Penthouse etc. can be.
Kasumi's kimono in doa5 seems right for meWhat's new with him? Sometimes we just can't fix a broken record. There's quite a few of those spam bots here. :bird: lol
I'd want Kitana and/or Mileena to have a nice kimono.

Ninja-like? Yes.
Princess-like? Not so much. I think her MKX outfit is a nice blend of the two. I'm not exactly asking for Princess Zelda type attire...maybe outside of Kombat, that would be practical.

Kitana needs to embrace the fact that she's a badass ninja assasin who would chop down anyone who opposes her. Why should a warrior princess feel the need to wear bedazzled jewelry and robes?
Because people of Royalty generally wear more decorated clothing, and last time I checked, Kitana is a woman of Royalty.

Kitana is depicted being able to hold her own in direct combat, so I don't see how she can't be considered a warrior.

Being a fantasy roleplayer, I see these kind of things in certain classes. To me, a warrior is someone clad in heavy armour and wielding heavy weapons and shields. A knight or a samurai, for instance. Kitana is raised to use the shadows for her benefit, to strike at weak spots to gain the upper hand in combat, like a rogue or an assassin.
However, stepping out of that mindset, yes, Kitana is indeed a warrior. However, she is not one to wear heavy armour and use heavy weapons and shields, because that is not how she was trained. Her discipline, her art of fighting is alot different, so she has absolutely no reason to start acting like someone she isn't and start fighting in a way she does not know how, when she already knows an alot more efficient way of killing people.
... Actually another reason why I think giving her Jade's staff is rather stupid. But I can somewhat accept it, as she and Jade trained alongside one another all their lives. I mean, Jade can fight with fans as well, so I can accept that Kitana also knows how to wield a staff.
