Lots of people die, again
If you don't believe me, and the obvious proof isn't enough, go ask Ed on Twitter, he'll have the same answer as I did.
Oh, how strange. I base it on the actual games that these two characters derive from with canon storylines!? How absurd!
You have no idea how stupid you just sounded. But if you need me to go into more detail I will. Sonya clearly is substantially more intelligent than Kano has, was or ever will be, she has better training (lieutenant in Special Forces) and she's also much faster. Sure, he may have more raw strength, but raw strength doesn't win fights and never really has.
 It's unbelievable how many people you've got convinced that you're not a troll. I'd have thought stealing a veteran poster's name and avatar would have been a dead give-away, but then you orchestrate a hilariously dumb argument with Tarkatan Trash, and now this gorgeous drivel.
By all means, ask Ed Boon if you think it's such a great idea. If you get any answer at all, it'll be that Scorpion would kill them both.
Interesting. Let's see what else these canon games tell us...
In the original timeline, Goro was defeated by Liu Kang (2x), Kung Lao (1x), Noob Saibot (1x), Johnny Cage/Sonya/Kano (1x), and Taven (1x), and defeated... nobody. Not a single character lost to Goro in a fight from MK1 to MK9.
In the alternate timeline, Goro was defeated by Liu Kang (1x), Kung Lao (1x), and Cyber Sub-Zero (1x) despite fighting alongside Kintaro. He defeated... nobody.
Whatever could this collection of data mean? Could it mean perhaps that Goro, who defeated the Great Kung Lao and won nine consecutive Mortal Kombat tournaments, got flabby? Well, that might explain losing the tournament after going 9-0, but losing to Sub-Zero when it's him and Kintaro both? Nah, that doesn't sound likely. I know what this means! The Great Kung Lao is a great big fake! In an extraordinarily subtle bit of writing, the legend of the "Great Kung Lao" turns out to be just a ruse made up by Shang Tsung to fool Earthrealm warriors into thinking that they have a chance! In fact, Goro is a total chump, and the reason he won 9 tournaments straight is that the warriors Earthrealm produced wouldn't have beaten Mokap in a fair fight! Wow, that's quite a brilliant scheme by Shang Tsung...
Who unfortunately lost to Liu Kang (1x), Smoke (1x), Kitana (1x), and Kung Lao (1x) despite fighting alongside Quan Chi, in the alternate timeline, and beat not a single person. Wow. 0-4? When Quan Chi's got his back, no less? Well, hatching brilliant schemes like "the fake legend of the Great Kung Lao" takes a lot of brains, I guess you can't have everything, right?! Hahaha. Yeah, that must be it.
Or it means that the bad guys always lose in the games because if they won, they'd just kill the good guys and the story would be over. You know, whichever theory seems more likely to you.
That's so interesting! You're such a fan of canon information, I trust you'll have sources to back up the "fact" that Sonya is clearly substantially more intelligent than Kano and has better training than he does? Obviously you do, I'm just asking for the sake of formality, since I couldn't find any information about Kano's training regimen whatsoever.
I did find this - "Shao Kahn's act of promoting Kano, however, proved to be a lucky shot, as Kano was a very competent general. Even in the face of overwhelming odds and the tactical mastership of Princess Kitana and her Edenian-Shokan army, Kano stood ground and eventually managed to repel the invading army" - which I thought rather interesting. Obviously the wiki's wrong, though, as we both know that Kano has nothing but raw strength going for him, and he couldn't possibly be an intellectual match for Kitana, let alone Sonya, who is an unparalleled tactical genius! :hahaha:
I beg you to continue your nonsensical babbling and attempt to formulate a response. I'm having far, far too much fun to stop now.
- Fujin becomes MAD and in the progress the plane from that destroyed city crushed down on the city creating that stage. Only wind can do that with a plane.
Lots of people die, again
I´m pretty sure the God of thunder would do some damage too![]()
I'm not sure, but aren't planes immune to lightning?![]()
I'm not sure, but aren't planes immune to lightning?![]()
I always thought airplanes were conductors of electricity.I'm not sure, but aren't planes immune to lightning?![]()
Lots of people die, again
Agreed.
I'm thinking that by the end of MKX story mode.....
- The klassic characters who are parents (Jax, Sonya and Johnny Cage) get killed off, paving the way for Cassie Jacqui and the new generation in MK11.
At least that's what I hope happens.
1 last hurrah for the klaasic characters before transitioning over completely to the new characters.
- Other klassic characters also die, clearing up the roster for MK11.
- Shinnok is an unplayable sub-boss, but Quan Chi will betray / kill him in story mode.
- Scorpion and Sub-Zero, or Scorpion by himself, kills Quan Chi for his treachery.
The demon that possessed Fox had ties to Quan Chi.
- Mileena gets killed off by Kotal Kahn
- Goro becomes good / joins Raiden to try to take down Kotal Kahn, after Mileena's death.
Yes, probably we see the parents die to make room for the youngsters.
BUTTTTTT
Because people still cling to Sonya, Jax and the old crap, they will return OVER their children in MK11 again, just because Ed Troll can't let his original children die and perish, especially those from MK1 + Jax.
Not once did I say that Kano had only 'raw strength', I just said his raw strength was the only advantage he had over her, she outclasses him in everything else. I agree me stating that her being smarter than him is an opinion, but quite a popular one at that.
This isn't going to be nearly as fun as I thought if you're going to play the "I can't remember what I wrote in my last post" game. Fine. Let's recap!
This trainwreck of an argument started when I called your assertion that Kano has "no chance" against Sonya bonkers. So you brought proof. With me so far? This was your proof:
1.) "Sonya clearly is substantially more intelligent than Kano has, was or ever will be" - which you were just kind enough to admit is merely your opinion and so IS NOT PROOF;
2.) "she has better training (lieutenant in Special Forces)" - in response to which I asked you to tell me which canon source states precisely how much training Kano has received in his life, and you decided to simply ignore this question in the hope that it would evaporate faster than your chances of winning this argument. What's that, you don't know what Kano's background is and just assumed he had... what, Thug Life training? LOL, moving on then...
3.) "she's also much faster. Sure, he may have more raw strength, but raw strength doesn't win fights and never really has" - which by your own admittance gives Sonya one advantage and Kano another. Unless Sonya turned into the Flash overnight and is able to break the sound barrier, we have no way of knowing whether her speed is more of an advantage to her than Kano's strength is to him. So again we're back to these "facts" being nothing more than your interpretations.
Still with me? That entire paragraph you posted was assumption-laden non-facts. The only time you came close to making a point was in the next paragraph, when you said that Johnny defeating Reptile once is different from Sonya defeating Kano "in almost every single game & a movie." Here are some facts straight from the wiki:
1.) The film ISN'T CANON. Even if it were, Kano was beating the shit out of Sonya until she got him in a headlock. That's not "doesn't stand a chance."
2.) Sonya beats Kano TWICE across every single canon MK game in existence. That's right, in all of canon Mortal Kombat, Sonya only beats Kano in a fight two times. One of those times is in the original trilogy, and the second one of those times is in MK9 aka the retelling of the original trilogy. It's even debatable if this counts as beating him twice, but whatever, I'll give you the two. Now according to you, Johnny Cage beating Reptile once means nothing, but Sonya beating Kano twice is conclusive proof that Kano can never possibly beat her? Love it, man. Love it.
Hey, you know who has an even worse record than 0-2? Shao Kahn vs Liu Kang. It's 0-3 in Liu Kang's favor. Well, I guess that's irrefutable proof that Shao Kahn cannot possibly conceivably ever beat Liu Kang in a fair fight, he stands even less chance than Kano vs Sonya which is already zero according to you!
I've read some of your recent posts in other threads, they are very reasonable and I may have been too eager in dismissing you as a troll. If that's the case, I apologize. But you must see that this argument is a lost cause. MK's story is so wishy-washy, so artificial, and so contrived, I wouldn't feel comfortable saying that ANY serious character has "absolutely no chance" against any other character. MK9 had Kung Lao defeat Shang Tsung and Quan Chi at the same time. The guy behind the entire Netherrealm War... fighting alongside the guy who bosses Goro around (who killed the Great Kung Lao)... got beaten by Kung Lao. The Deadly Alliance... which just BARELY managed to defeat Raiden in the intro to MK... lost to Liu Kang's sidekick. Do you not see how entirely meaningless these battles are? If MKX needs Baraka to beat Raiden in MKX, Baraka will beat Raiden! Don't put so much stock into "facts" NRS doesn't give a shit about, and will change the instant it becomes convenient without giving it a second's thought. They've done it before and they'll do it again.
Wait a minute.... Sonya smarter than Kano?
LOL!
Kano is very handy with all types of inventions, cybernetics, lasers and what not, what does Sonya have? The is blinded by a bad temper (see comic) and thinks with her aggression. Sonya only wins because the goodguys always have to win... DUH...
And in 21 years she still failed to capture or kill kano, watch Cassie doing it in one freaking game...
Your mentioning of Sonya in literally every single thread in every comment you make is getting extremely pathetic. We get it, you're obsessed with Sonya. Move on now, it's pretty sad.
