If someone comes to Hanzo and say HEY DO YOU KNOW WHO POSSESSED FOX AND KILLED YOUR CLAN?

And he says "who?"

And the answer is Sub-Zero...

I'm going to do with myself what Fox did :laugh:
 
Now that was a great issue. The first one was... Meh. But I really enjoyed #2.

-I see Scorpion has some bitterness when it comes to Raiden.
-Fox is turning out to be much different than I thought he would be.
-I'm starting to love Takeda. Looking forward to seeing him in MKX (lets be honest, he's getting a roster spot)
-Raiden has become even more cryptic and dangerous. Pretty much a harbinger of death at this point.
-The whole dagger issue is becoming quite the problem it seems. Some sort of relation to a blood based demon from another realm. Interesting. Perhaps a demon that serves what will become the big bad of MKX?
-Once again, Scorpion's clan is dead. Not sure how I feel about this. I mean, AGAIN? I swear - If Quan Chi is responsible somehow or the blame is put on Sub Zero... I'm gonna be pissed. Dead horse is dead, you know?

I totally agree with what you say and I really like the both issues.

About blaming Sub-Zero... Well, I think it IS going to happen because of the intros. They don't prove anything, though..

I think you just predicted everything that will happen next. Scorpion called Sub-Zero a murder the E3 teaser that we got almost a year ago. Not to mention in the original timeline, Quan Chi trick Scorpion that Kuai Liang was the real killer of his clan from what I can remember. I can see us getting a similar repeat on what we got in MK4.

Well, this week's issue was really unexpected.... I was finally happy with the new path for Scorpion... but, if his clan gets murdered again, he will continue beeing the revengeful character he's always been.... I just hope he doesnt change his way of thinking just for this incident....
However, Fox's change was really a WTF!!! I expected him to be a new hero type character, together with Takeda, but now??? I need the next issue NOW!!!
 
Predictions:

1. Sonya will die in the 5th issue. Mark my words.

2. Forrest Fox will be killed by Takeda in the 3rd issue, Hanzo will become Scorpion again, (SO F#*&^ING STUPID, I SINCERELY HOPE NOT) and lead into the whole hunting down Raiden storyline with Takeda.

I have no idea about the whole possessive demon thing, not enough facts or evidence to definitively make prediction.

But yeah, I'm really sure this will happen.
 
all that work in bringing his clan back which led to a great change in character and Scorpion gets screwed over harder than the Sub-Zeros in MK9 seriously!? just wow.

at least we get some more insight of the story here regarding the mysterious demon and the Netherrealm war

that would be a great way to reflect what Hanzo is now compared to what he used to be if they do that
 
Wow. Well, after reading this issue, I'm calling it. The 'surprise returning character' who will be the MKX big bad is Meat. It's Meat everyone!

That would be a good option after this...well, after this nonsense of taking everything Scorpion has once again.

Maybe Hanzo start to see (if he does not already) Takeda as a son figure, the son that was taken from him just like his clan TWO FREAKING TIMES.

By doing that, he can remember what really drives him. Instead of being an uncounscious revenge wraith, he may be keeping himself as a human, even in face of the greatest loss, by seeing a future in Takeda.

Well, I see two paths:

1- He will try to find Raiden about this demon; concentrated Hanzo;
2- He will blame Raiden for giving him the dagger and "attracting" that evil; crazy hothead Scorpion.

Anyway, seems like he will face Raiden. Beyond option 2, I can't imagine why with the info we have nowadays.

Oh, option 2 is the likeliest, but I can see Takeda stopping the fight between the two of them and talking Hanzo out of once again becoming obsessed with revenge.
 
So this voice that drove Forest Fox crazy, I wonder if it's from the cursed dagger or from the demon?

Because if it was the dagger that turned Forest Fox into a self mutilating crazy, it brings some interesting questions on what happened to Kuai Liang who was cut by it. In another thread I was guessing that playable Sub Zero would be Bi Han and that Kuai Liang would turn into a new character after the dagger curse (similar to how Bi Han turned to Noob Saibot).

If it was the demon, I'm curious what this demon is.
