Strongest Warrior in the Forces of Light.

Hey guys. This is my first thread.

I would like to know who you think the strongest/most leader worthy character is in the Forces of Light. It's purely opinionated, but please give facts or reasoning's to back up your choice if you wish. I would exclude over powered characters in the Forces of Light (Raiden, Liu Kang, etc.), because they are too obvious.

Look at it like a scenario. In this scenario, you are one of the kombatants. It is a time somewhere between MK Deception and MK Armageddon. Liu Kang's death was unfortunate and tragic. Raiden can only help us make plans to fight against the Forces of Darkness, do to his rise to Elder God status. Who do you vote to be the leader, and why? Who do you think is the strongest, or has the most potential, and why?

I think Fujin would be the most worthy of being a leader for the forces of light, if not for Raiden.
Fujin seems like a strong, powerful warrior, who also wants to help protect EarthRealm and has his head on straight, as far as being a leader goes.
I really hope that Fujin also shows up in MKX and fights along the forces of light.

Cool. Interesting thoughts. Lol. I hope Fujin shows up for MKX as well.

Well, there's a lot actually to choose from. I think Kuai Liang is worth mentioning since he's nearly god status with how his powers have grown. He also has leadership skills seeing as how he is the grandmaster of the new Lin Kuei.

There's still a ton of other good choices too.

I agree with you completely. Lol. I'm being biased, but I don't want to crap on anyone's opinions either.

I'm still holding out for the Shokan to ally themselves with the forces of light.
IMO, If that did happen, Goro would be one of the strongest characters in the forces of light.

He is the champion of Outworld...

I would actually like to see Goro turn good in MKX, much like in Kung Lao's MK Gold ending.
He would be 1 hell of an ally for Raiden to have, for sure.
I hope that NRS doesn't make him into a big idiot, like he was in MK9.
It would be nice for him not to just be big and stupid, for once.

Agreed. Goro's a friggen prince. Or did NRS forget about that?

But at least Goro wasn't as dumb as Kintaro. They had him talking like the hulk...

"Humans, less ugly when they burn!"

I wish they would show him some love for once. But i'm sure we'll never hear about Kintaro again.
just like in the original timeline.

NRS did Kintaro no justice in MK9 anyway. They slimmed him down way too much. He didn't even have a neck in MK2

But Dragon Medallion Sub-Zero is no doubt the strongest of the good guys, sans Kang and Raiden.

The Shokan allied with Earthrealm and Edenia. That's new. I mean they did it before in the old timeline, but the Edenian/Shokan alliance didn't last very long. It would be interesting to see a solid alliance between Earthrealm, Edenia, and the Shokan.

I'd have to go with Subzero (which was Lang at that time). Yeah, Fuujin is a powerful ally, but storywise I've seen him get overpowered too many times (against Bi Han in MKMSZ and in the MK4 comics by Oni). Plus, a leader has to be able to not only overcome his enemies, but also his allies (which is what Bi Han did to Fujin in MKMSZ).

Right and in the old timeline Kuai Liang got way better than Bi-Han when he was human. Kuai developed his fighting skills and his cryomancy.
