I agree. I've always liked Meat as well. I wish NRS would get their shit together and stop making characters they never even liked in the first place. It's a tease for the people who end up liking said character.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice Araknyd's self contradiction and back-tracking. That wouldn't be so bad on its own, but he's consistently rude in the way he argues against the reasoning of people in this forum. Sure I'm salty about it because he's done it to me, but I see it again and again. Relax guy, jeez.

The worst is when someone responds to your opinion with a simple "no". Its like "wtf? Um yes, its my opinion." It makes my fallopian tubes twitch.

(His MK9 bio, btw, suggests that he could have EASILY been implemented into the story, so that's a bullshit excuse.)
Human Smoke was brand new in UMK3, as a playable character too, and yet they didn't waste a roster spot for him?

Human Smoke was playable for the first time in UMK3, and he didn't have new moves either.
Also, human Cyrax and Sektor in their true human forms were also a first in MK9, so I don't agree with that specific reasoning.
(MK Gold Cyrax got an ending that tried to make him human, but he didn't get transformed back all the way.)

The only difference in MK9 is that Sub-Zero was turned into a cyborg instead of Smoke (in MK3), this time around, and it was just done for pure shock value.
To paraphrase Ed Boon "Someone who wasn't a cyborg may be a cyborg now."
Ed Boon hates Sub-Zero, so all the experimentation for the dumb and shitty ideas is done on him.
Notice how there's no shitty female Scorpion, no shitty Cyber Scorpion, no Scorpion 2nd shitty character (Noob) and how Scorpion lives through every goddamn thing.
And before it's countered with "Herp, derp. Sub-Zero got 2 chapters."
Well, no shit he got 2 chapters. NRS just can't leave that information about him being captured without giving a logical explanation for it, and leave the fans in the dark.
Heaven forbid that somebody suggests Scorpion getting a drastic change like that or a female character based off of him, because that person would be fired from NRS for even suggesting that idea about the MK creator's favorite.

1.) It's not my fault that YOU took it that way.
Re-read it, and don't assume.

2.) It IS for no reason, as production costs would be higher for creating a completely new character, whereas an alt with slightly different animations would have likely been substantially less for them to do.
You have STILL not provided a valid reason as to why human and cyber SZ couldn't be in 1 roster slot.

I also saw a tweet about someone asking him if we can get another character announcement soon and Boon replied 'I guess so'. But who knows what he means by soon. Maybe Gamescom is soon enough for them to prepare. And then there will be PAX Prime two weeks after that. So it's probable that we'll get nothing this time. Injustice was comic-related while MKX is not...
 
But even if we don't get anything new at CC, it doesn't prevent them from showing more gameplay of the existing characters.

That sounds like Elder Gods who don't care about morality.

Shinnok escaping the Netherrealm is also something that the Elder Gods wouldn't see as unbalance to the realms, therefore it doesn't suit their needs.
Shinnok and Quan Chi taking over and merging all the realms together, to become the supreme overlords / rulers of all that is in existence IS something that would destroy that balance between the realms and bother the Elder Gods, as they are the rulers of all in the MK world, and this union between Quan Chi and Shinnok could potentially jeopardize THEIR position as Elder Gods.

Bi-Han as Sub-Zero, being their Champion, makes TOTAL sense as he stopped their armies before as Sub-Zero and can do it again, stopping Quan Chi and Shinnok from merging the realms, and preventing them from being the NEW Elder Gods (as Shao Kahn wanted to be in MK9).
