I agree brutalities were stupid in MK3 but with the new technology and xrays, they could be insane looking and Boon said they had some great ideas for brutalities but just didnt have the time to finish them. How about if they were like this. You give your opponent a beat down and the camera zooms in on the close shots like when u hit them with the tree branch and then throw in a xray and end it with a brutal finishing move. Thoughts? how would u make them look?
 
If they're anything like the ones in Trilogy (ie, machinegun-like barrage of random hits that suddenly makes the opponent explode), thanks but no thanks.
 
I'd rather see Babalities & the return of Friendships! YES friendships! Even Hara Kiri's would work good. Brutalities.....I just don't know about them returning.
 
So what do you want?
And extra-long combo in which the opponent inexplicably stays there without falling or flying away from the pummeling?
 
There won't be any babalities or Hara-kiri.
All my money is in the 5 slots being:
- 3x fatality
- Stage
- Brutality
 
Just give each character an expanded x ray that goes on too long and ends with a death blow and call it a brutality. That would be killer.
 
I've never like brutalities ! Too hard to peform, for a boring result...

Don't know if there will be brutalities in MKX, but i'm pretty sure that NRS is preparing the big come back of FRIENDSHIP !! (that would be great in this darker and nastier game !!)
 
Yes brutalities please.

It would be fresh if every character had their own brutality as opposed to everyone having the same animation.

Example: subzeros brutality combo would consist of ice attacks, extended xrays, punches and kicks and top it off with the final uppercut explosion.
 
A new type of "ality" has been revealed to exist so change the brutalities to that something else.
