Speculation on the release date, before april 2015?

Reason I say this is....We were able to pre-order mkx the MOMENT it was announced....I find that odd....considering mk9 was not available for pre-order until 5-6 months before release?
 
I'm thinking next spring. Seems reasonable but its anyone's guess at this point.

Lately I've noticed a strange trend in delayed games though.
 
Yup, I think the trend is most likely due to pandering to current gen...

then again arkham knight was delayed and is next gen...soooo.....

When is next spring for you guys in usa? Coz its winter here....
 
Yah, see I would straight out think YUP April, like you just said, coz of INJ an MK9...But you couldn't pre-order that shit, till a few months before release...I dont know why mkx is now available...maybe it will be out earlier?

I'm waiting to see what kind of editions are available before I pre order. If its nothing too great I'll stick with the regular copy.

Anyone else in to the special/ultra/collector editions?

nahhh never have I just want the game, I wasnt a fan of the classic unifroms of mk9 i dont thnk they translated well at all from 2d to 3d....so I dont care for that classic crap.... I didnt like most of the designs in mk9 it was too over kill....
 
I got the Collectors edition of mk9. I need to see what we get for MKX before I drop the extra money.

And obviously, spader doesn't appreciate the older costumes. I think they were the best part of MK9. And they fit perfectly since it is a retelling of MK 1-3. Heck, if you chose Noob's MK2 outfit, MK2 Smoke would show up instead of his shadow.
 
I haven't forgot the Noob-Smoke team up but how come with that costume? Did I miss something?

Agreed though. The retros were so awesome and fun. Too bad only the ninjas got them.

For MK9 I bought the edition with the statue (book-endings... Got em' in my profile pic lol:hail:). I plan on getting the 'ultra' (most expensive edition). If they do pre-order costumes (or some kind of content) for various retailers, I will be selective like I was last time.

I also caved in and bought the statue book end edition. However, it will be the last edition I buy if they continue to have Sub-Zero getting killed in it. How can I proudly display my favorite character being killed? :dontknow:

Younger bro is a Subzy fan. He also hates my statue lol. I understand your pain, of course, being a Scorp fan (Noob is my tag team partner though!)

I would love for it to drop on April 19 again. 4/20 was a good day that yr. Sat on my ass for the whole day lol

The only possible April 2015 release dates would be the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. With the exception of theatrical releases, the entertainment industry releases new material in the States on Tuesdays.

All depends on how fast NRS finishes development. They may push for a Holiday release, or they could take their time to polish it up for next summer, prime time for all the little kiddies to go get their copies and waste the summer away.

I'm definitely getting the most expensive edition.
I was still in high school when MK9 came out, so I only worked a part time job. Now I'm working Big Daddy shifts and have the paper to lay down on a shiny box full of Made in China MK memorabilia :love:
 
For new release, I'll most likely get the PS3. For the most updated version of the game, I'll get that for PS4 and the console itself and probably sell the PS3 version of MKX as well.
