Your wishlist for MK10

I want less cinematic fatalities. There can still be a few, but not all of them need to be insane.
I miss the oldschool quickies. Like MKII Baraka's headswipe or Human Smoke's decapitation uppercut. Just something that isn't 30 seconds long with slow motion, multiple angles and a dramatic pose.

Ed Boon doesn't have that kind of ego.
Hence why Cooking with Scorpion was a thing. And why Scorpion was dancing like an idiot in that old ass MTV show where they mocapped video game characters to music videos

Sindel, Kitana, Jade, Cyber Sub Zero, Noob Saibot, Kabal.
Yeah, ok. I'm honestly hoping that these characters stay dead for at least one game. I think other characters should have their chance to shine in 2.5D MK. It did wonders for Quan Chi. I think the MK Team is entering another golden age like they did with MK2 and MK3. They are at their best right now, arguably. I'd like to see what they can do with lesser kombatants like Hsu Hao, Mavado and Dairou. I'm also hoping they have Noob's soulnado thing revert him back to Sub Zero somehow. I think Bi Han is the more interesting one. My expectations are really high for the next game.

So do I.
I'd love to either see that or see Cyber Sub-Zero being brought back to life, then being turned human in Quan Chi's Inner Sanctum, as Subz711 suggested.
Either way, MK10 NEEDS to have Sub-Zero

For the final boss battle against Shinnok, the fallen Elder God's specials are all enhanced, w/o paying for meter at all, and also very quick start-up and recovery. His AI is like that of the one from the current Killler Instinct, albeit more adaptable and a bit easy depending on what difficulty that is played on Arcade Mode (On Story Mode, the difficulty against him is automatically set on the 2nd to hardest difficulty). If the player wins the 1st round, like the others above me said, he'll go into his demon form, gaining new specials and armor to staggers and stuns, unless getting caught in a combo.

As for wishful thinking on Arcade mode, if you lose against him in the match, it's an automatic "Game Over", Shinnok does one of his two fatalities and the bad ending will show. No retries once you go against Shinnok (Think of Final Bison on Street Fighter Alpha 3, but with MK kombatants instead).

They should give us an option to change the announcer's voice to any of the MK games in the past. I'd always pick the UMK3 voice. Or Shaolin Monks!

NO.
Scorpion was not missing because NRS didn't want him in.
That's a false assumption that many people are under.

"Well, Scorpion wasn't in MK3 because NRS didn't want him in."
NO. FALSE.

The reason that Scorpion wasn't in MK3 was because Daniel Pesina (who played all the ninja characters in previous MK games), was fired for promoting another game (Bloodstorm) in a Johnny Cage costume along with his brother Carlos Pesina.
Bloodstorm was a rival with Mortal Kombat.
It's the same reason why there's no Reptile, or masked Sub-Zero in MK3 either.
The only "ninja" in MK3 was John Turk, who was maskless Sub-Zero
Carlos Pesina was forgiven and now works at NetherRealm Studios again.
During the fallout of Daniel and Carlos Pesina, Carlos' character Raiden was also suspended from appearing in Mortal Kombat 3 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, because they didn't want to use his likeness, as a form of punishment to Carlos.

It wasn't until Ultimate MK3 that John Turk finally donned the Ultimate MK3 "ninja" costumes which brought Scorpion, masked Sub-Zero, Reptile, human Smoke, Noob Saibot, Ermac and Rain into Ultimate MK3.

tl;dr but the fact of the matter is that Scorpion wasn't in MK3 and it's possible (though unlikely) that Scorpion or Sub-Zero could be emitted from a future MK game.

It's not possible at all. Didn't the fans speak out loud and clear that they would never tolerate it the first time around?

Sareena should have a fatality where he throws her knives at the opponent's feet, grabs the enemy's crotch and tosses the loser over her head while the body rips off the legs with the feet impaled to the ground (like Mileena's Rip-Off fatality). Then, she walks up and stomps on the victim's face several times and grinds her heels on the face until the head is completely crushed.

What Sareena should have are her daggers and kamas.

Why not have his human form on the main roster, but not involved with the storyline? Dead kharacters should stay DEAD. Until MK11

Didn't read?
Well, read it.
The whole point was that Scorpion wasn't in MK3 because of NRS not wanting him in.
The whole point was that he wasn't in because they FIRED the guy who portrayed him in previous MKs.
Otherwise, Scorpion would be in every single game, as he was from that point on.

THIS!!!
I seriously doubt that NRS would risk alienating a HUGE portion of their fanbase, and pissing lots of people off.
They don't want that kind of shit storm.

Tbh, I don't see the Tekken series omitting Jin, Kazuya or Heihachi anytime soon, nor Street Fighter with Ryu and Ken, and DOA with Kasumi and Ayane. Main/most popular characters are a focal point in the modern fighting game, therefore I don't see Scorpion or Sub-Zero going anywhere in MK10.

nor Street Fighter with Ryu and Ken

Capcom nearly did in SF3. I think I read in print (I think it was either GamePro or EGM since that's what I read most frequently) in 96 that SF3's roster would have no returning characters at all. However, beta testers spoke loud and clear that they were not going to play a Street Fighter game without Ryu and Ken, so Capcom listened and put them on the roster.

That wont happen cause then they would have to pay all the old voice actors again

I absolutely LOVE this idea. At the very least, give us 3 or so continues for Arcade mode so we cant keep trying over and over again.

Also I want to see scrolling backgrounds again. They started this in MK vs DA and I absolutely HATE IT. Backgrounds should not be randomly picked and assigned to each fight in arcade mode. have all the backgrounds set in an order and have arcade mode start on a randomly selected stage. Then after each fight, win or lose, it goes onto the next stage

Actually, the case of one voice actor in particular is even worse than that. Steve Ritchie, the announcer and voice of Shao Kahn from MK2 and MK3, was diagnosed with tinnitus and last I heard was projected to go completely deaf a year ago.
