If Sub-Zero is the Metallica of MK, then Bi-Han is Dave Mustaine while Kuai Liang is Kirk Hammett. Noob Saibot would be the Megadeth of MK. I have nothing against Megadeth or Dave Mustaine, but the facts are the facts, and can't be disputed with authenticity.

Now if I could only use the Thanks function on my phone...

Also dont bring up that crappy mythologies game in his defense either because as of Mk9 so many things changed that its not even guaranteed thats canon anymore. Especially since we gave this whole story of Kuai Liang took on the Sub-Zero name out of respect bullcrap. No that wasn't the case originally. It was a family name passed down and since Bi Han died Kuai Liang took the name. I believe Kuai Liang was like the seventh in line.

Bi Han is no more important and never will be more important than his brother. Fact is Mk9 would have been the perfect time to change Bi-hans death and not have him die by scorpion. Did they do that though? Nope. They still made a point to kill him.

Also let Kuai Liang have the name because lets be honest people like Noob Saibot and therefor Bi Han will still be relevant. Do you see swarms of people clamoring for Cyber Sub-Zero to come back? Nope because it was a bad idea to start with. He was cool for a minute, but his novelty wore off and people realize they dont want a game without human Sub-zero. As far as Im concerned the Sub-Zero bros have been fine for years. Kuai Liang as Sub-Zero and Bi-Han as Noob Saibot.

If MK:SZ is no longer part of the canon and the events of DA-MKA were undone then that would mean Kuai liang has done nothing either except parade around in his brother's skivies and become a crappy cyborg who also get the crap kicked out of him.

Thankfully MK:SZ is still canon because Raiden mentions Bi han's "accomplishments" in story mode following his demise at the hands of Scorpion.He defeated four elemental warriors chosen by the elder gods (one was Fujin who is a god). Kuai Liang's name is "Tundra" not Sub-zero. And He is worthless! He became Grand master, lost his amulet, was so dumb he couldn't see the betrayal that was standing right behind him, still got his ass handed to him, and never even finished his original mission: Kill scorpion. He even got magical Power boosting armor and still failed. The only thing he succeeded in was doing a fairly good "shredder imitation". Bi han is and always will be the only Subzero. And Kuai Liang will always be Tundra. Bi Han was even a better Subzero in UMK3.

But the original timeline is still canon in totality. Always will be, since Raiden sending visions to himself have effectively retcon-proofed the original timeline.

Additionally, how do you explain MK3 Sub-Zero being one of the most broken characters (gameplay wise) in fighting game history? If Kuai Liang is as weak as you claim, then surely his Ice Clone wouldn't freeze enemies right through a block. The only one who could undo that strength was Ed Boon himself.

And one more thing; masked Sub-Zero was a non-canon character in UMK3.

This really isn't an argument. The only proof I need.

How many chapters did Bi-Han get as Sub-Zero in Mk9? Right, lets counts em up thats a big 0.

How many did Kuai Liang get as Sub-Zero, oh thats right 2. Yeah I dont need any further argument here. If they wanted Bi-Han to be Sub-Zero then Raiden would have succeeded in swaying Scorpion to not kill Bi-Han. Oh and funny thing Bi-Han lost to Scorpion in MK9. Who beat Scorpion? Oh I think that was Kuai Liang.

You're argument about Kuai Liang being Tundra sucks too. Developers only did that to pay homage to what the Sub-Zero character was originally to be named.
 
Wrong. It "WAS" canon. It no longer is. It has been undone your argument is therefor negated and inert.

Yeah he was glitchy aaaaand looked ridiculous in his little overall-spandex. Classic Sub was and is better. End of story. NEXT!!

First off princess. Bi-han killed Scorpion and defeated him as a newly arisen specter-ninja that makes 2 defeats. Beat 4 elemental guardians/ GODS and kicked Quan Chi's ass(MKSZ "IS"canon). Kuai Liang is dead now. Only he won't be reborn as a kick ass wraith. He'll just be dead. Due to the new story He accomplishes nothing. He sucks, plain and simple. He just sucks. even online polls prefer Bi Han. As a matter of fact the poll on here (TRMK) preferred Bi Han over Kuai Liang 3 to 1. so your argument is invalid. Negated and inert. vapid and insipid, weak and pathetic, you suck, I win!!!

The only reason he got two chapters was to explain why Smoke was human.

Im not even continuing this. Your arguments prove you are picking and choosing what is and isn't canon from each timeline. First you say the whole first timeline is gone, then you say scorpion was beat and killed by Bi-Han. That was in the old timeline. He may have still killed him, but Bi-Han clearly lost to Scorpion in this new timeline, and was then clearly killed. So some parts of your picky choosey timeline are not so.

Invalid. This is a "mortal kombat" site. one that has actually caught the attention of NR studios on neumerous occasions . Not some site where a bunch of random individuals comment and probably couldn't tell u the difference regardless of the poll. I still win buddyboy!

The poll here holds far more credence, if for no other reason than the fact that this is the best Mortal Kombat site on the web and one that is frequented by both first and second gen MK fans. I wouldn't be subscribed if it weren't. So once again i win.

I wish my xbox live subscription wasn't expired. I'd kick ur patootie with Bi Han just to prove a point.

Are you serious? If the dude likes Bi-Han he likes Bi-Han, there's no need for these paragraph long arguments as to whys he's objectively wrong.
 
Dave Mustaine wrote some of Metallica's early material, just as Bi-Han was Sub-Zero in the first game. However, Metallica fired Mustaine before recording Kill 'em All just as Bi-Han died in the first game.

Kirk Hammett replaced Mustaine in Metallica and has been on every Metallica album since, just as Kuai Liang replaced Bi-Han as Sub-Zero and has been Sub-Zero in every game since.

Meanwhile, Mustaine founded Megadeth after being kicked out of Metallica, just as Bi-Han became Noob Saibot after he died.

........0-0.....really dude? That's the best analogy you could come up with? I like Metallica too. Enter sandman, Fade to black, Master of puppets, Of wolf and man to name a few of my faves. But-um i'm not really sure how any of that is relevant. For u i'm sure it makes perfect sense. Me? I'm just sitting here wondering how they have the slightest sub-atomic particle sized thing to do with one another. Bi-Han is superior. Plain and simple. I've already explained why. I'm sure you can see the irrefutable truth as well, but are still willing to plead a case that falls on deaf ears. Bi-Han for MK10. That is all.

Seems to me like you completely misconstrued what I was saying. SmdH.......first off my friend.

It was not begun by me. This post is called "Your wishlist for MK10" I simply stated my wish for a particular character to return. Next thing I know here comes a couple yahoos looking to for conflict and that is what they found, much to my amusement. And when I have ended it on MY part, I let it go, there is no longer a need for anymore rebuttal... here you come, looking to add your two cents to an already dismissed conversation.

THAT is what started all of this. People chiming in offering their two cents as to why any opinion or preference other than their own is invalid. This is baffling to me because most of the Ideas I've seen here are, to be quite honest, horrible. Yet I keep my opinions to my self unless I'm attempting to be funny, ironic, or sarcastic. So as I said I entertained a couple of individuals obviously looking to troll.

I am no where as near to being as "fanatical" as some of these other individuals. ME, being the funny yet observant individual that I am, noticed this and decided to see just how adamant and dedicated to continuing this farce these individuals would become if I gave them a little incentive. I got my answer as this charade carried on for 3 days.

I won't point fingers as to who began this little debacle. As I said I'm done with it. My opinion stands, my argument is valid and I'm through with this waste of time.

P.S. Bi Han is better .
