BANALITY
With Twilight being a major success lets take a look at mortal kombat very own vampire Nitara. I really think they ought to put her with Nightwolf so they could have that Twilight thing going on. Nitaras story is very weak. It would benefit them both
storywise and garner more popularity between the two. What do you guys/girls think.

Edit: looks like the vampire fad is not going away just yet. A new film called vampire academy comes out 2014. The team is the team behind mean girls, batman returns, real steel, transformers, bend it like Beckham, heathers. Fans of the film are saying its different to twilight. I haven't read the book so i cant say.

Nitara just needs a MK9 reboot and I think she'll be good.
I was never really a Nitara fan, but I didn't dislike her either.
To me, she had potential as an MK character if she was done better, moves-wise and appearance-wise.
 
Nitara needs to be REMADE with long claws and RETRACTIBLE wings (meaning the wings should only appear when she's flying otherwise they shouldn't appear). Then a male vampire can be with her too.

Also, Rayne (Bloodrayne) should be a guest character in MK too.
 
Yeah Nitara's goals were fulfilled and the only reason for her to fight again is for either a dark side turn or for her realm to be threatened. But like Arakynd said she probably just needs a reboot.
 
this was a wrestling gimmick but this is a vampire perfect for mk

also he did a knights templar gimmick also wich i think would be sexy for an mk title

yea shame they dropped that gimmick to because i thought it was interesting.

just imagine a mk version of him where his quest is to eliminate the mk tournament itself

Nitara needs a Red Riding hood look. No wings or any of that lame shit. MK needs a little class in it's life. Besides, it would make sense considering Nitara would likely be alone when she gets to Outworld and would want to conceal her identity

Once you think about it she would have a concealed look trying to hide her intentions of freeing her realm Also the developers said they were going to make a male vampire but never did they should use his concept if its any good and make him a "real" vampire kombatant no love interests just blood, gore and brutality.

I said this in another thread but And ill say it here as its more relevant. I don't think we would be seeing Nitara anytime soon. Why? COs mileena bites and eats ppl. Skarlet uses blood as her power. It takes away nitaras appeal as vampire.
 
II really hope she doesn't make a comeback. Frost and Tanya were most voted females to return in that order. I think she doesn't have an appeal anymore. *goes to watch whole Twilight saga*
 
Nitara should be rebooted with the modern vampire idea, of no wings, but moving super fast and having super strength, Twilight style.

Twilight had a shitty plot with the mushy gushy love story, but the way they designed the vampires was awesome.

Nitara should have...

1. Claws
2. Enhanced Speed
3. The ability to morph into a bat (as a finisher).
4. Have retractible wings (optional).
