PC version of Mortal Kombat 9...

Yes, there was one of MK3 at one time. Also, Warner Bros has been commisioning ports of the Batman Arkham Games amongst others to the Mac lately.Feral Interactive usually handles the ports for Warner Bros these days. But it doesn't really matter if there was ever an installment there before. There's a first time for everything.

Like for example, they never ported Assassin's Creed 1 to the Mac but they ported some of the sequels. Another company never ported The Darkness to PC or Mac but ported the sequel to both platforms. They never ported Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay to Mac but they ported the sequel which included it. There's lots of other examples that I don't remember off the top of my head.

I know most of those aren't fighting games but they are still examples of later games being ported. Recently, the Guilty Gear games available for PC where ported to the Mac on GOG.

I think that we shouldn't expect anything new till E3 is over.
But it's kinda weird that there is still no pre-order on Steam.

So far E3 looks good for PC! Most of the multiplatform games that has announced (Mirror edge 2 Mad Max Titan Fall The crew) are also coming to pc! Now the only info we need about the pc version if the system requirements and preorder on steam. Xbox one sucks there is no way i am going to buy it wirh all these restrctiions MS are putting on it.
 
I'm kinda worried by now, to be honest. Seems like they are still testing the Steam multiplayer, which might mean that the netcode is hard to redesign and optimize for the PC. No preorder yet...

dude, chill out! why r u so negative?!
first, you were checking steam data base every single second, and had some crazy ideas about it being canceled, not coming for pc ... :)
it has been confirmed, after 2 years, 2 fu*cking years! they had enough time to make sure the port is right.
why dont they release some more screen shots and etc?! because the game is 2 years old, there's not too many people super excited about it (sans die hard MK fans like yourself).
it'll be released on time, and it'll pup up for pre-order in the next week, im confindent about it.
you will be able to play MK on your pc, and you will laugh about all these negative thoughs!

But it has something that we DONT love in ANY game: It is xbox one exculive!! There is no i am buying a XBO for this. No after what MS is trying to do to us.

This Killer Instinct is total crap in my opinion, but that's just me. I can't stand anime fighters. They just look ridiculous.

Well that's the thing really, the original game was more like Mortal Kombat in graphics style:

Now they basically stole SF4 in graphics style and gameplay and that's just ridiculous. KI was never a super original game, it always had that SF vibe with a bit of MK but it was a fantastic game and now we get this piece of crap.

I bet we won't see the return of No Mercy moves (those were like fatalities in MK) because it seems like MS wants this game to be super kid friendly.
