Ever heard of, or played a demo to a game but never got around to buying the full version?

Yet it crosses your mind every time you make a trip to the store but you never picked it up. Share yours.

For me:


I played this game WAAAAY long ago as a kid. It was a demo and I always wanted to pick up the game for years but I never got around to it.

MK:Deception and Deadly Alliance along with Spider-man Webs of Shadows, I rented the game and completed it. The game is so much fun.

Same here. The Oddworld games are fantastic and have some of the best art direction I've seen in a game. That and it takes some smarts to get through em. I love the challenge. I heard that they were gonna re-make the first two in HD. Personally, I think the graphics in the first two still impress to this day, but man.. It'd look even better in this generation.

Am I the only one who want's to see a good HD remake or sequel to these games?
They were such a blast back in the PS1 days.
 
War of the monsters and virtua fighter 5 for me DEAR LORD they need to continue with the former at least rerelease it
 
Every once in a while Square (now Square-Enix) dabbles outside of the RPG genre. Einhander is one of those titles. It's side scrolling shoot-em-up. The game is 2D in nature, although the graphics are 3D and the camera angles move on occasion. It was well-received by critics, part of it having to do with the fact that shmups at the time were (and still are) far few in between. Why Square did not want to take advantage of another niche is beyond me.


I did not own the demo myself. It belonged to my friend, since it came with his copy of Brave Fencer Musashi. When I played, the demo I was mesmerized; one of the best-looking PS1 games I seen. It's already available on the Japanese PSN, I might play it if it's available on for the North American PSN.

Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood, I have no idea why I haven't played this game yet, cause I did play all the other games of the series.

Same with Steambot Chronicles. I was at Gamestop the other day and they had it for like around 15 bucks.

Don't know why I didn't pick it up :mad:
 
Parappa the rapper was mine. I had a demo of it on one of those demo discs and loved it when I was a kid. I never had them game because I didn't have a ps1 growing up, and only reason I had them demo was cause my grandma bought it and mk trilogy at an auction because they were video games. Man, everytime I went to a flea market or store that sold old games or gamestop when they still sold and had used ps1 games I would always look for it. This went on for years till I found it one day at a slackers store in st. Louis.

btw a demo that i play and love, but never actually get was little big planet 2, im kind of a designer sooo when i first try it i wanted the full version, but then november 1 of 2011 came..... uncharted 3
