Tekken Thread: All things Tekken related

Wow, a lot has changed since Tekken 4 :laugh:
That's was my first Tekken game, I loved it though.
I also owned Tekken Tag and loved that shit.
Never played 5 or 6, or any of the older games.

I mained everyone in Tekken, my favorites being King, Armor King, and of course

I might have to pick up 5, 6, and Tekken Hybrid.
I'm a true casual of this series, unlike Mortal Kombat.

Ahh, Tekken 4. First PS2 game I ever got. 3rd or 4th Christmas, my dad got me a PS2 with this on it. Played it nonstop for several weeks. Lee Chaolan/Violet is one of my favorite characters, along with Jin, Kazuya, and Heihachi.
 
Can someone clarify if Lee/Violet appeared in any other Tekkens besides 4?
I think Lee did, but I don't know about Violet.
Violet in Tekken was my Cyber Sub in MK9 :razz:
 
Lee was in 5 & 6.
Violet wasn't, but I'm pretty sure you can customize Lee to look exactly like him.

Man, Tekken brings me back.
I hold it to be my third favorite fighter (after Street Fighter), I used to play Tekken 4 so much.
I think it is whack how they gave Heihachi a goddamn diaper.. that was weird.
And how they replaced Eddie with Christi (But made him a cheat code skin for her :x)
 
Eddie comes back as a full character in 5 & 6.



I'd say get 5 first.
It comes with the arcade versions of Tekken 1, 2 & 3.

Seriously rusty on my tekken.. I could google that shit but I'd rather here it from a fan.

A fatass dude named Bob.. and I noticed there's a lot of like.. Pink haired girls with robot wings :?

He's not like rufus trust me. Bob has the speed and the power but he's not an obnoxious character like rufus I alternated mains between kazuya and bob for a long time
 
Anyone with a 3ds picking up tekken prime 3D edition? From what I've seen it looks pretty good.might be nice to get some online battles going when it comes out
