Cyber Characters?

What would be the coolest cyber characters

A brand new cyborg character. Turning established characters into cyborgs results in way too much butthurt.
 
It is Cyber Smoke for me, I loved him since MK3 and I also loved later nano-design.
Second is Hydro for me, but CSZ is pretty much that (sadly).
Guest Fulgore would be cooler than Freddy, but pretty pointless as well.

Better not something like Cyber Reptile, which is a pure nonsence, make Chameleon instead.
Cyber Scorpion etc is the same. Why cybernetizing outside Lin Kuei? Bull****.

Cyber Shao Kahn from CSZ's intro maybe or perhaps Cyber Kintaro :)

Ill ask you this way, how is she NOT a clone?

I think she's a Subbie unnecesary copycat but I dont have major problems her since she is not at least a generic character (Dairou, Sareena, Tanta, Darrius, Kobra) besides Frost has some cool story with Sub-Zero that puts her above Tanya, Sareena, Kira etc, but still I dont think Frost should return if NRS dont plan in doing something really really new with her.

There's been alot of Cyber characters now I don't know why they would just leave Cyber-smoke out of the picture. BUT, sure maybe I would like to have Cyber-smoke again.

the cyber smoke in your avatar looks like Fulgore

I cant decide if I'd rather have Fulgore of CyberSmoke in the game. Both are fine

Cause design-wise and story-wise she isn't a clone of anyone. Her abilities are just like Sub Zero's... But come on. Are we to expect every single character to have their own unique power? Liu Kang uses fire... As does Scoprion. But no one is *****ing about that.

Frost has A LOT of potential to be an awesome character. Keeping her away just because she is a Cryomancer is kinda silly and ignorant.

Is not ignorant, there are more unique characters they can realese, Forst is just a copycat, give a chance to the guys that have different things to show, Fujin (wind), Hotaru (lava), Havik (corpse moves), etc...

didnt even know hotaru was lava, not very original, but the armor and weapon make up for it.

I do agree though, they COULD make another character with an already existing power such as Ice, but theres gonna be a backlash because most people like to see new stuff instead.

I didn't say those guys shouldn't be given a chance. Personally I don't think Frost or Fujin should be introduced until the next game. And there's really no reason to leave Frost out. Most of the post MK3 characters suck anyway. They should take the ones with a decent amount of potential (Frost being one of them) and take them to the next level.

But with Frost it COULD be new... If done right. Yeah, she has ice powers... But she doesn't have to use them like Sub Zero does. Cryomancers can freeze the moisture around them and manipulate ice. Sub Zero only touches on that in MK9. Think of all the different ways a Cryomancer can fight.

never liked the word "Cyber"
after cybersub, people started using it, but I always called him Cyborg, or Robo Smoke back in the old games.


the word cyber makes me think of a name for some nerdy hacker, or some wierdo kid at a rave party.
It fits CyberSubzero, but "cyber" doesnt come to mind when I think of Sektor, or a Robot Smoke.

As long as I can remember I referred to Smoke as either Human Smoke or Cyber Smoke. I just say it because it sounds smoother than "Cyborg Smoke" and "Robo Smoke" doesn't make sense because he isn't a robot he's a cyborg.
