Cyrax Thread - "Safeties Disabled; Combat Mode Engaged!"

I wouldn't say he's easy. But its the stereotype that all cyrax players just spam the bombtrap to infiniti lol. He's harder to play then scorp imo

strategically and tactically, he's not the easiest to learn but his combos are ez to execute for 40-50% combos with little practice :/

and scorpion is like the easiest character to use
 
I think dropping from a net that is up high causes landing animation, which prevents ducking/jumping/attacking for a few frames. If done properly, you are forced to tech/xray.
Unconfirmed though :D

Thanks man :) Yes that is one of my favs too! I still have heaps of ideas with long distance combos, infact i was going to add a few more, but the music track wouldnt allow me to fit any more combos lol.

Cyrax move cancels always opens up lots of opportunity for testing and creating new combos.
Time to create new setups!
 
I am the same way but once cyrax gets rushed he is hard to get out of those situations because of a lack of useful combos. Pushing triangle or why is your best hope followed by a jump. the dwon kick is kinda effective to. Im working on using his telport more
 
i think both :) i like to start always with airthrow....and then little net...little combo... teleport.... i use very mutch teleport...and also when i wanna move quickly next to opponent then i just move with airthrow.I dont use 50% combos.... i do 20-35%

Just yesterday I decided to learn Cyrax as my main. I am not aware of how much of an impact the command grab/bomb trap nerf will have on his gameplay. Without this, is Cyrax still a viable top tier character? For the people who've mained Cyrax since the beginning - how much of an impact does this change have on Cyrax?
 
I can still pull off the cyrax's bomb trap on xbox 360 atleast...don't know about ps3. Anyways I went to practice mode and made the CPU have auto block then I tried cyrax's bomb trap and it worked perfectly.
