Nuking is not the answer. Everyone dies because everybody has nukes. And nations that don't would have supporters that do.

Nuking Japan only worked for WWII because nobody else had developed a nuclear bomb at that point, so it worked. Not to mention the nuclear fallout and diseases it caused afterward scarred them for years.

Going to become much worse because of his death, so I'm trying to point that out to people who didn't realize that yet.

Why is that? Outside of fighting the war they've spent the last 10 years with their thumbs up their asses. Are they suddenly going to have the tools at their disposal to mount an attack against the us. After all the damage we've already done to them, plus all of the infighting that will erupt around them picking another leader(someone already mentioned this. Smart man ), on top of all of that it's not going to be easy. How is anything going to become worse when they don't have the ability to MAKE it worse. They're through imo.

Either way, too many people stick up for America and see everyone from the middle east in a nasty way. We blow our tops when we hear gunshots or explosions or see planes flying into buildings once in a while but the people in the middle east live through this shit EVERY SINGLE DAY. There are a lot of innocent people over there who don't hate America at all and are trying to raise a family like anyone in the west. Too many ignorant comments coming out of the aftermath of Osama's death, let alone each time there is a terrorist attack.

Not to mention that the Pakistan governement is going to be targeted because Obama stated they co-operated with him. True it would be harder now, but don't rule it out.

As I said, it would have been worse years ago because they had more tools at their disposal.

I'm not sure if he was trying to be ironic or what. The United States, propaganda and late-night television aside, is reasonably well educated. Maybe he's confusing "third worst" with "third best"? And what are we comparing, literacy rates? College graduates per-capita (like that means something)?

Anyway, he's right for the most part. Any nuclear response to a non-nuclear, non-global threat would mean the end of the USA as a country, in short order.
