Why is reptile getting no love from NRS?

Sorry if there's already a thread like this , but am I the only one that thinks that reptile is missed? He's mostly appearing on videos getting beat off, no vignette for him, music or even a wallpaper, the only thing he got was his dlc costume to make up for his rushed design! I'd like to see one video of him making a nice combo, of course that there's a video of him making a 10hits combo on E3 2010, but anyway thats my opinion and I want NRS to give more attention for Reptile! What u think guys?

I really think its just for right now bcuz Subzero was in that same boat, video after video until they came out showing his vignette, Reptile deserves the spotlight too bcuz IMO they haven't showed off his true potential in the game we should at least get a taste come on LOL

Well technically neither has Ermac, Sindel, Sonya, Jax, Kabal, Smoke, Sheeva, Stryker, Shao Kahn, Raiden, Jade, Goro and Baraka. In fact, they have got less then Reptile.
 
First there was that guy complaining about Sheeva getting no love. Now Reptile? I'm sure all of the characters will have new stuff released eventually. Everyone just needs to relax. I guess we're all anxious for April 19th.

Yea your right brah...but Reptile was in the E3 build and still nothing

Yea but its nothing wrong with conversating until the game comes out just as long as nobody is bashin anybody were straight plus me personally I love all the characters, I just feel for fans who's character didnt get any spotlight time n ultimately Reptile who has been there since E3 Ya feel me..

It sucks that they launch a video about a character and then they stick to it and kinda forget about some characters that haven't been showed off enough, exception for Ermac and Sonya gameplay, I would really want Reptile or Ermac wallpaper kinda like the ermac leaked image, I'm tired of liu kang's videos and his boring screams, anyway this week or next they promissed some videos :D
 
Personally I like reptile for the most part. I dont like his "BIRD mask" but the rest of the design is really good. His combos are very nice from what I've seen he smacks you from side to side of the screen while turning invisible and throws in some drop-kicks for good measure. I love the start of his Fatality where he spits in their mouths but the stomach rip is pretty weak. I really like Piranha Soldier's acid spit version on Youtube
 
Reptile looks godlike IMO, they couldn't have done him better. I love the mask, love the armor, and love his fatality.
 
i think the least love goes to nightwolf i keep forgeting about him just because theres been hardly info not even a render would like to see a combo vid before the game come out for reptile/nightwolf/cyrax/sektor seeing as these where four of the first lot to be announced and now have been dumped in the corner like a old toy!
 
Yeah man reptile and nigthwolf seems to be forgotten but cyrax and sektor no, sektor last appereance was even in Liu kang's combo video, but nightwolf is even more forgotten than reptile :(
 
1. He is not missed. You can view videos of him via youtube. Go see.

2. He's not one of the 6 showcased fighters on themortalkombat.com so of course he isnt getting a vignette, wallpaper, etc right now

3. He does not have a rushed design. That's you bellyaching just to bellyache.

4. He prolly wont be getting anymore attention than he already has. But that's okay. He'll be nice and fresh come release. Cant say that about Yellow and Blue.

5. I do feel your pain though. I wish at least one of the MK3 debuts were allowed a spot on themortalkombat.com. Dont know why they chose to only go with MK1 and MK2 debuts. Nightwolf would have been a tastier treat over Shao Kahn.

I'm with you, some people over here just can't think outside the box and appreciate any slightly different but creative artistic choice, but I guess personal tastes plays a major role here.
 
NRS cant treat every character the same way if theyre going to use the marketing strategy we have seen thus far. People are going to be disappointed if their favourite isnt given the same treatment as the notables, which is understandable, but NRS wants to keep a lot of stuff under wraps.
 
Actually, the only characters that really got attention were the one at The Mortal Kombat, and not even all of them, only Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Mileena and Liu Kang. Only Noob is not in this group, and I was really surprised to see he got a gameplay video.

Even characters revealed at the first teaser did not get much attention, except at the public builds, which most of us did not get to play. We haven't seen so much stuff about Reptile, Kung Lao, Sektor, Nightwolf... even less from the more recently announced characters. I wish all of them would get at least a vignette, or a gameplay video, but I doubt so. I'm thinking the videos we get from now on will be about general stuff, like game modes, trailers about some gameplay features like that one about X-Rays, or trailers about the story mode. Maybe that's even better, because we get to see at least a little bit of everyone.
