Sub-Zero Bookend Pictures?

Re: Su-Zero Bookend Pictures?

In terms of business it makes the most sense to put sub-zero and scorpion on everything mk considering there definantly the biggest favorites and for sure the most mainstream characters in the entire series

It does make sense, so I'm not surprised that they do it.

Semi-on-topic, but does any one know how many pages the art book is? And if there is any available pre-orders for Europe/UK yet? I've checked places, but I can't find anything so I'm assuming there isn't.

According to gamestop it is 110+ pages

Re: Su-Zero Bookend Pictures?

you won't find it they are keeping it a surprise I hope he's shooting and Ice Ball and has glowing Blue eye's
But on topic I'm really hoping sub-zero pose is him freezing or pulling the skull like his wallpaper from awhile back.

I like both of these ideas. Another thing I thought would be cool is if he was shooting ice at the wall (similar to the scorpion one) and the wall was like half-way frozen and half normal. Pretty cool if you ask me

The bookend figures are 2 seperate pieces. Scorpion is on one piece, throwing his spear into a wall. Then, judging from the shadow, Sub-Zero is on another piece getting impaled by the spear. You put each piece on seperate sides, and the books/games/movies in between. That's why they are called bookends. They are meant to keep the books/games/movies in place, and display them in a way. I am assuming the spear through the wall is to make it look like his spear is going through all the books/games/movies in between, and coming out the other end to spear Sub-Zero.

The final product would look like this:

Scorpion would be on one side of the books, and Sub-Zero on the other. The walled part of each figure goes up against the books/games/movies.

Re: kollectors edition bookend figures......

thats what i thought... i was hoping the sub zero end would be more of a detailed figure like scorpion instead of just a shadow. wish we had better pics of it

It is going to be a detailed figure like Scorpion. They aren't just going to give us a black figure in the shape of Sub-Zero. They just don't want to show us his look yet.

OK, finally I've discovered what a bookend is... :)
I think is a cool item and hope it turns out being a little more detailed that the European figurines... :|

Re: kollectors edition bookend figures......

Yes they do. Each KE comes with Scorpion AND Sub-Zero.

Re: Su-Zero Bookend Pictures?

BlackCyborg already posted what the bookends will look like in a thread just like this:

Re: Su-Zero Bookend Pictures?

Why is Sub-Zero always getting picked on by Scorpion? Every time they show the two together, it's always Scorpion whopping Sub-Zero's ass. inb4 Scorpion is better.
