A lot of people hate it as well. Who woulda thunk. Nice picture of Kratos, by the way.
That's odd...you're the only person who i've heard not liking the game, especially to that extent.

The 2 PSP games are the same story...
Looks to me like you're one of a very small minority, and that can be chalked up to it just not being your style of game, a biased playthrough making you hate the game, or you just not giving it a chance. Either way, the facts are there, and the overwhelming majority love the series and Kratos. So it would make sense, especially given that the whole setting around his game is a lot like Mortal Kombat(The mythos, magic, and super human qualities etc. as well as the obvious mature dark and gritty setting.). that he isn't that bad of a choice for a guest character. The ONLY people I have seen dislike this, are some of the MK fans who are always uhappy with something, and have this perfect image they want MK to live up to that caters to their liking. Every other gamer or more open minded MK fan, absolutely love the idea. I'm indifferent, but I can see all the positives in it, and I can understand why Boon and Co.(They are big gamers themselves and love other franchises) would want the character in their game for fun.
I've never even played the GoW series, but even I can understand the appeal some people could have seeing their favorite characters from different franchises rip each other's heads off. It's a cool little feeling when two ficticous characters lock horns, especially when it's in an awesome balls to the wall game known as Mortal Kombat. Now a full blown crossover I could see why people are upset...it takes away the story and makes the attention more 50/50 between franchises. But Kratos has no attention other than the fact that he's a selectable character in Versus mode. You still get a true MK game with a continued dedicated canon story, and everything that makes MK...MK. It's Mortal Kombat...with Kratos on the side if you want him. No biggie.
