i remeber Boon said whoever is comfirmed, you to think of another character that has to do something with them well something like that

Okay
Jax-he is there to rescue sonya(so i think she is going to be in it) and sonya was in Tournament to kill kano(so i also

Cyrax and Sector-they were programmed to hunt down the young sub zero(so i think he will be in it but maybe until its mk3 story shows up(is the elder sub zero lives))

Kung Lao-He didnt show up until mk2 cause of the attack on the shaolin temple and the reason for that cause liu kang won mortal kombat(since goro was the mk champ and liu kang broke it, i think kintaro(along with goro) well be in it and so it leads me to belive liu kang is also going to be in and who led the attack was baraka so he well be in it as well)

shao kahn&kitana-well the whole reason why mk3 happen cause sindel(so i think sindel will be in it)

tell me what yall think

and add on for some help
 
I was thinking that as well. Nice job. But what about Motaro? He'll be in it because this was MK3 when he favored centaurs. He favored the Shokan, then Centaurs, then Shokan again until they betray him and go onto Kitanas army. Then he is hiding, while the Dragon King used his army and the Tarkata. Found Goro in battle, and then got the Shokan back.
 
everyone knows the line up is gunna be the MK trilogy cast without the doubbled up charactors and playable bosses, so why speculate as if people like kano or sindel wouldnt be in it, of corse they are!!
 
With the MKT roster being selectable, I'd add the following characters as DLC:

Quan Chi (Has a major part in Scorpion's story.)

Sareena (Was already working for Quan Chi in MKM before the first MK tournament.)

Kia (Same reason as Sareena's.)

Jataaka (Same reason as Sareena's.)

Nitara (The only vampire representing MK and vampires are always thirsty for blood and gore.)

Shinnok (Has a big role in Raiden's and Shao Kahn's story.)

Tanya (Has a major part of Kitana's, Sindel's, and Jade's story.)

Fujin (Was in MKM.)

Tremor (He was in MK: Special Forces which happened before the first MK tournament. A LOT of people also want him to be playable too.)

Tasia (She was the only female boss in MK: Special Forces and I think she deserves a chance to shine.)

Hornbuckle (If Blaze became a character, so should Hornbuckle.)

Havik (Maybe him because he represents a very interesting realm called the Chaosrealm.)

(I never want to see Meat again!)

Even as DLC, these characters would suck a large one (aside from quan-chi). It'd really just be a waste of time and effort to add these characters. Your justification behind most of these characters is the part of the timeline they existed in. Even if they existed during MK1,2,3 they had no role in the story and were ultimately thrown in the timeline afterwards as a bullshit excuse for more characters. You also included characters that you thought deserved to be in the lineup for no reason other than your liking of the character (Nitara). Not to mention anyone that originated from MK:special forces should be cut immediately

Oh, and Hornbuckle? You've got to be trolling. Go back to MKA and make these characters, you're the only one that wants to see them.

Omg dude, take a chill pill. He was just stating his opinion on who should make it into the roster as DLC.

And f'ing god, it's a game.

Here's an idea: get off your chair, get out of your house, and get under the sun. That's what you need. Instead of flaming on some other user who was just voicing out his choice of characters.

putting them charactors in even via DLC defys the point to the whole game in my opinion, i dont want to see any of those charactors in MK9 even as DLC, keep it like the original MKs with the original cast but with fancy new age technology graphics :) simple
 
No offense, because I really like the potential of this thread because I'm a huge lore creeper, but there is no need for a science to figure out who's in and who isn't.
 
Nasty_Freak, I like the idea of having Quan Chi as DLC.
I'd also add to the DLC Reiko (He was a general in Shao Kahn's army) and MAYBE, MAYBE Tanya (to give us another female character).

Other than those 3 characters, I'd prefer the DLC to be reserved for Stages and Classic Fatalities.

Thank you so much. I've given that kid my one last warning. And about my character ideas, yeah I think the more the better and these characters deserve a debut of being playable.

@Araknyd03: I like your idea about having stages and classic fatalities (especially ones that burn or dismember the entire body such as the Toasty and Kiss of Death) to be DLC.

Sub Zero = 2 NEW Fatalities + MK 1 Spine Rip (as DLC)
Scorpion = 2 NEW Fatalities + MK 1 Toasty (as DLC)
Reptile = 2 NEW Fatalities + MK II Head Eat (as DLC)
Kano = 2 NEW Fatalities + MK 1 Heart Rip (as DLC)
Liu Kang = 2 NEW Fatalities + MK II Dragon Chomp (as DLC)

etc, etc...

All is good. But I thnk Kano's classic should be his MKDA fatality where he not only rips out the heart but also rips out other organs too.

Also, I'd like to see:

Kitana= 2 NEW Fatalities + Kiss of Death (Without the inflation and stretching!!! It should be like her MKSM version mixed in with Tanya's version of Kiss of Death from MK4 where the opponent's body convulses and twists like a pretzel but while laying on the ground this time.)

Way to prove your point by being completely hypocritical. Just as Nasty_Freak did, i was merely stating my opinion. Even if it contradicts another person's ideas, my ideas are just as valuable. You even say so yourself.

"It's just a game" is the oldest counter argument in the book. I'm aware that Mortal Kombat is a game. That doesn't mean i don't care for what the game contains. Any of your hobbies can just as easily be labeled as unimportant.

Nasty_Freak's {post}- Hornbuckle I very seriously doubt, Blaze as DLC could see cause of his cameo of MK-UMK3. Might see Sareena, Kia, Jataaka, Fujin, Tremor, Tasia and Quan Chi in DLC but doubt others cause time period. Maybe Shijunko cameo also of his time travel thing. Oh yeah, Meat, do not like but I saying never, the graphics in MK9 are so cool, wander what Meat could do and look like. This two-face dude in upcoming Arkham City looks like Meat, well half of him and looks kool.

Meat would make a good cameo in MK9. If their internal modeling is legit, what better way to show it off than with meat?
He'd make a good practice dummy.
 
Lets keep MK 9 serious plz. Meat was everything but a serious character. Back then MK II had only 12 characters but it rocked because every character had his importance in the story. I would like it to continue that way. 25+ characters is already a good roster no need for uncharismatic characters like meat or additional characters via DLC ( maybe 2 or 3 not more)
Quantity do not mean quality ;)
