Contents of the SFIV Collector's Edition revealed

GameStop recently revealed what we can expect when purchasing the Collector’s Edition box for Street Fighter 4, and its left a few of us with more questions than answers. Eager CE buyers can expect a copy of the 65 minute Street Fighter 4 Anime movie (on BluRay for ps3 owners!), and a comic-book styled game hint-book. You will also get a limited edition figure with your purchase; Ryu for the ps3 and Viper for the 360. A soundtrack CD is also listed. Lastly, you will recieve 5 downloadable costumes for the characters as a bonus.

I saw those sackboys on Playstation Home, adorable! Almost made me want to buy the game. Well, right away anyway. I do want to buy the game anyway, eventually
 
Man i just recently found out about the alternate attires for the fighters. Which is really cool. Not counting the color alternates. I cant wait for this game.
 
Dude, we were already talking about that several pages ago, where were you?

Also, as I don't think it's been mentioned yet, Rose has been added to the character lineup.
 
Yup rose is in and now there are 25 characters for the console versions. I dunno which one to get. Hopefully ill have a PS3 by the time it comes out. I think id prefer the PS3 controller. Not sure if i would like the SFIV controllers.
 
Well, I know if I were going to get it I'd only get it for PS3. After my abysmal experience with MKvDC and SF2THD I NEVER want to use my 360's D-pad again for all eternity.

for what system?

I hear the alternate costumes are going to cost money. Which sucks. I mean i dont mind additional alternate costumes, but paying for stuff thats been in the arcade for 6 months is lame.
 
I thought there was still no official word on whether or not they'd be unlockable or DLC. I agree that it would be incredibly lame to make people pay extra for them, especially considering every alternate is ready in time for the release of the game.
 
It seems to be the norm now to include some special DLC to Special Edition purchasers, but it should never give an edge I think. Gears of War 2 had a special golden colored lancer, which I just found a way to get myself today, but it shouldn't be like COD:W@W had where you earn more EXP than the others.
