Awesome new Gameplay, interview on Gamespot gotta see!

Ehh, the game looks alright. I'd personally rather play MK2, SFII or even MVC honestly.

I like MK oldschool and SF II's 2d gameplay a lot. : )

But this, along with SFIV, is 2-D gameplay, but with visuals that appear to be 3-D.

I cannot wait to play TvC. Thank god PS3's play games from ANY region ;)

Edit: ok, I joined up and read some of the posts, and wow, its almost on the level of Midway.com forums, and even TMK or MKO, lol. Of course, that was to be expected. ;) That should be inteesting, hehe

Yeah....at times it makes the midway forums look good lol. The ignorance and stupidity on the DC site pertaining to MK games is among the worst I've read on any gaming site thus far lol.

The kidkam and paji don't know shit about 2d fighters lol. The powergirl thread is hilarious, the guys like Sammy from GG or whatever more popular then any MK or SF character ha, ha, ha. I was rolling when I read that.

MKO's main problem are the "haters" at times but they're slowly disappering or coming around, it's a lot better unlike the dc site lol still I've never read anywhere that says GG is a better 2D game then the older MK's/SF's games. That's just pure bullcrap as far as I'm concerned lol. I played the GG games way back, I agree with you totally. They're crap lol
 
The trouble with DC fans is their not gamers... And considering the choice of DC games being released is this game or that MMORPG, and most fans are adoring that MMORPG, I'd say lets just let the MK veterans beat the brains out of the DC noobs and have done with it! X-D
 
Yeah after seeing this video i'm not excited about this game. Batman looks like a crap character when he should be the most bad ass. And seeing Scorpion and Flash fighting.... just reminds me of the looney tunes. Flash is out there running like the road runner. Just all seems cartoony to me.
 
I too am extremely dissapointed in Batman's lack of badassery. When I watch the Flash, Superman, and Scorpion fighting I see awesome stuff. But Batman has almost no moves, reused combos, and he just seems unfinished compared to the others.
 
Flash doesn't look cartoony, he's "The Flash" he's supposed to have that blur effect......


But to each his own I suppose, with Batman it's like Jeary noted. He's going to be one of those characters NOT a top tier meanining, he won't be someone like Superman or Sub that have tons of annoying, powerful moves. You'll actually need more skill to master Batman. Nothing wrong with that.

Also, just a side note:Flash was out before Road Runner. Flash 1940, RR 1949. just a fun fact I was curious about since both are fast characters lol.

Im disappointed with what they did for Batman. His suit is pretty weak. His moves are brutal, atleast the ones weve seen so far. All he has is his little bat boomerang, a smoke teleport, and the same trip move as scorpion. He may have more moves coming, but so far he looks awful.

I just dont understand how they are ignoring him so much from a marketing standpoint. They had to know TDK would be successful, even if they had no clue of how successful it would be. They should have gone all out with Batman. Because of this movie, he alone could sell a million copies of this game.

They could have made him one of the best characters in the game and so far he looks pretty average.
 
Just note, Boon was actually asked recently about that in an MKO interview, and don't worry. Batman WILL get more moves Boon stated and both him and Scorp won't be sharing the leg take down. I hope Scorp gets it since he had it way back, and give Batman a few new moves. A great move for Bats would be a smoke pellet to the face like he uses in the comics and cartoons where it stuns you. Would be perfect.

Batman also at the same time is a human character(one of the few in DC) so he really should be more toned down as oppose to say Superman or someone.

The games far from done so I'm not worried honestly, once it's finished Batman will be better no doubt in my mind. I'm still curious to use him

And also, not sure if you noticed or not but his batarangs(the one that comes back) is a stun like move where you can get combos off of that once it hits. I like that a lot, sets up lots of combo potential for Batman.
 
lol, I see what you're saying I'm sure RR was inspired by Flash in some ways such as the blur effect. : )

Batman will be faster, he's not "Extremely fast" I just saw DK last night, he fights similar in the KK with elbows, forearms etc if watch some more KK vids : )

But yeah I can't wait to play as Batman
 
I liked Batman's fighting moves I just didn't like how bland his specials were. He didn't have a moving attack, all his projectiles were batarangs, and he's sharing a move with Scorp. In fact, we only saw 4 moves total from him as opposed to the "6 or 7" that Boon says each character will have. Face it, his specials are boring. And his batarang looks kinda dinky in itself. I just hope he's still "in development".
 
Like I said, Scorp and Batman won't be sharing any moves once the game is out. Boon said this for sure and the game is far from fiinished, Batman won't be bland, he'll be challenging to use but that's different then bland

Especially when compared to someone like Superman, Scop etc. Batman just uses his martial arts and gadgets besides his wits in battle.
 
I don't see how you can be so confident. He looks bland right now. And that's all the indication we have. Sure I'll hope he won't be. But I'm not gonna go out on a limb and say "he's bland now but he won't be later".
