Over the years there has been many great Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter videos, fakes, etc. But personally none are better than the ones done by Proxicide from NewGrounds. To me they serve as a great example of what a true crossover of the series would be close to. So we have decided to run all three of his classic animations for the next three Mortal Movie Monday features.
Proxicide's first of three videos showcases an epic battle between Mortal Kombat 2'sRaiden pitted against Ken and Chun Li from Street Fighter. It also features a few cameos from other characters from the Mortal Kombat universe.
Come back next week when Mortal Movie Monday will be featuring Part 2 featuring Scorpion vs Ryu. We're still looking for great clips to showcase, so don't forget to suggest us a future video to be featured.
I used to watch all these great flash videos on The Mortal Kombat Pavilion. But it got more and more frequently updated with more and more stuff and I couldn't keep up with it all. So instead of sorting through all the crap to find the gold I just stopped looking...a sad fact indeed.
I saw this ages ago, it's kinda sad how the artist seems obsessed with Ken and Chun Li being romantically involved. I hate that kinda thing. And plus, the two characters are polar opposites.
So what? Just because you're a fan of one series doesn't mean the other can't win a few battles. These kinds of flash cartoons are made by fans for fans. And if the artists wants more people to watch his stuff he should cater at least semi-equally to both franchises.
Yeah, any Flash cartoon I've ever seen always caters to SF fans.
Not to mention the fact that the fan-continuity in this little trilogy is really dumb.
Why the hell is Raiden just chillaxin with Kintaro? And why the hell is Chun-Li using a Metal Slug-looking gun?

It's entertaining enough. I think it's kinda busted that MK gets stomped in the mud like all this.
