if you were working in the MK team in which position in the team woudl you be in and why.

for me it's being a character designer for future MK games because i would like to make new characters aand make new abilities for them.
 
Hrmm.. I think I'd either be concept design, or artwork.

Concept design: I'm an out of the box thinker, and am always trying to think up ways to make things, be it a game, a show, or a board game, better. If I was working with the MK team, I think I could help out most there.

Artwork: Although I'm not too talented, this is where I have the most fun. If I were a little better at hand drawing, and computer drawing, I'd so apply for any job involving this (coincidentally, that's why I'm starting to take classes in this field next school year ;)). This is where I think I'd have the most fun, if I worked for the MK team.

thanks but here is another one i think is good but if i had to choose from 1 of them it would be too suicidal to choose so bless my soul.

I would like to be a background designer so i can make some new death traps and arena weapons for example i'll make a background where it's hell and i'll make it realistic by adding an axe covered in fire in a level below it and in the top level i would make it have those skelatons like in UMK3 but they will shoot fire out causing like 1/6 damage and there will be a hole covered in bones where you can knock people in there where yuo will go down to the bottom level where the axe is and lava flowing off the lake so you better sidestep or jump to avoid it but the skelaton fire shooting thing will remain the same but there is a ton more ideas of backgrounds that i can redo from other backgrounds from past MK games and bring a cool touch in them so it would be cool and maybe some new ones like a ice mountain or something.
 
Story writer. I'd have the ability to control everyone in the MK universe... They'd do what I make them dso. If I wanted Kahn to pick his nose, I'd make him pick his nose cause I'd have the power. And besides I couldn't do any worst at screwing up the continous storyline now could I?

same here!! that's the better part of making a game like Mortal Kombat! have the power to decide who 'dyes', who lives, who enters the game... write the fate of every characer!! it's like being god!! :wink:
 
Aye, my favored posititon would be Story Writer. It'd be nice to control what my favorite characters do, how they die, and hopefully make new characters that don't suck. :)
 
I'd probably see about being a voice actor. I can do all sorts of character voices, ranging from street thug to war-hardened veteran to evil entity. Some people also think I do a pretty damn good Scorpion impression.
 
I wouldn't mind being the story-writer, but the problem would be being creative enough to not bore the fans to death...the other issue would be that I'd have to write endings that all tie together, create endings that have nothing to do with anything, and also decide what characters do during the story (bios, alt. bios etc).

Still be fun, though.
 
To hell with story-writing, I want to be the guy that comes up with all the fatality ideas. Come on, you can't say that sitting around all day thinking of ways to kill people wouldn't be the greatest job in the world.
 
On the contrary, DC, I can. Why? You can only kill a man (or woman) in so many ways before you run out of ideas completely.

Wait...hasn't that already happened?;)
 
Pfft, no way! There are plenty more ideas they haven't used yet. They just need to think outside the box more, and I think I should get that job, damn it.
