Alright, it's 11:04 AM , Saturday morning, and i'm bored out of my mind. I figured why not bag on this new flick called Date Movie, which was intended to be a comedy, but ended up to be a complete disaster.
The movie is made up of these horrible puns that were supposed to be funny, but had everyone waiting for the ending credits. The movie was beyond predictable, and honestly seemed like a really shitty 'Scary Movie' imitator.
It is such a horrible movie, that you can literally guess what will happen next; and well.. I did, every time a door was opened, and a foot step was taken I would scream out the next sequence. Was I right? You bet I was, the movie was boring and had about 1 or 2 funny scenes throughout the whole video.
My idea of making fun of a movie would be taking the puns to a certain extent, they mainly made fun of meet the fockers. Imitating the last name (fockyourdaughter -- bad spin off from focker), the house, parents, and from the original meet the parents -- the classic milking scene, and cat taking a crap scene.
The movie was based on making fun of the few parts I listed, but it failed dramatically. All they did was change the actors (but I believe the parents from MTF actually played the "FockYourDaughter") and made the film lifeless and IQ dropping. Sort of capturing the essential 'Immature teen -- non foul language FUNZIEEEE film'.
