Why is Scorp so easy to use?

Let's analyze some facts , for fun , only :

- He is the 1st character on the select screen grid, so, lazy people in the first contact with the game, decide to pick the very first character and, end to stick with for some time .... or forever ? hehe

- The demo had only 4 characters, but, somehow, a lot of people still picked Scorpion more than the others 3 !! So, once the full game came, some lazy assess, since they learnt how to play with Scorpion majority of time, keep him as the main characters, because they memorized his moves set / combos, and they can try to archive easy wins ......

- Scorpion is the advertisement boy for NRS, who appears in the NRS logo once you put your disc inside the PS3 ? hehe It's the "Ryu effect", a character used as propaganda will attract attention a lot over him !

- His move set is really easy to learn : 3 special moves that use a shared down, back + button command, and his kunai , the classic back,back + punch.

- His default combos are very easy to learn and memorize ; I'm trying to record in my mind Baraka, Cyber Sub-Zero and Kano combo attacks until now, but , Scorpion default combos, I never forget that, hehe !!

- He is the favourite of Ed's ...... maybe some people want to show Ed some gratitude for making the game ? "hey, let's make sure Scorpion is the most used character online, Ed gonna love to know that !!" hehe
 
Here's why:

Scorpion is Ed Boons baby. NRS makes sure that they put all there time and effort into making scorpion the most like-able/useable character in the game. I've always said if they spent as much time as they do on scorpion on the rest of the game, we would have an even better MK.

Cheating = using resources outside the game to win .... "Hey, I hacked Sub-Zero ice beam glitch even after being patched, I can use it all the time online, losers !!" hehe

Cheap = Lack of inteligence : "Hey, you know that OTG Smoke move ? Let's use it all the time , even knowing is a boring way to win a fight ..... who need to learn how to do a 12 hit combo with Smoke ?" haha

Spammers = People with fear to play this game : "C'mon, I can win doing Liu Kang up/down fireball , man, just a matter of time .... If a lose, next time I gonna pick Sindel and fill the screen with air fireballs, wanna see if that dude in the other side of screen can just escape from that ..... well, if fails, I can always pick Shang Tsung and use his Ex Fire Skulls, hehe !!"

Scrub = The apex of desilusions of grandeur : "Hey, don't tell me what to do, I know I can win just spreading CSZ Ice Bombs all around the stage .... wanna bet ?"

Online = Where losers, *******s, noobs, imature and childish kids and all kind of "fighting games dregs" try to hurt the online experience of serious players, like TRMK members , for example

Offline = Where you show who you are , in fact. No cry baby losers moaning/whining, no scrubs, no lag, only 2 players testing each others skills .... no complains.
 
Because he is the main focus on this game, yet he still doesn't grab my attention. Never thought him to be so 'baddassy' because most people chose to pick him (and most still suck with them).
Oh and besides that, he has every tool in the game. He has a free hit move, a teleport, an unblockable, and a sweep grab. Yeah, and he ain't hard to memorize neither. I love kicking Scorpions ass<---SO MUCH FUN
 
Scorpion is a straightforward all-rounder that has moves to answer to almost any situation. Every fighting game has that type of character.

Both in his specials and normals he has something for every situation. His versitility plus is fast movement speed make him easy to use. Easy to use is not the same as being an excellent Scorpion player though.
