Who will die in MK11?

This thing with Jade in MKX is really stupid.

They deleted her completely form the game in favour of excuse to create a variation for Kitana. Jade should be present in MKX along with Smoke, Nightwolf etc. (unless they have some concept for her, which is doubtful for me)

And that's another reason for me to dislike the variation system :D It's rushed, many variations are not creative and so on. And remember that this is MY OPINION, don't crush me please, hehe.

I care about sheeva god damnit

:p

Ok, ok.
1 person loves Sheeva.
Actually, all joking aside though, when MK9 was being announced I was surprised to see that there were a handful of Sheeva fans.
Not many, but some. :p

I am a hater for jacqui and you are not a hater for kotal?. Kotal is way more important than the most useless and boring mk character ever

That's subjective.
That distinction of "most useless and boring mk character ever" could also belong to some of the characters from the MK1 thru MKA roster, as well, that I could name off the top of my head.

I agree with you that some characters feel like they have 1 wasted variation in each.
I'm hoping for the next game that they just have 2 variations.
For example, for Sub-Zero (imo), his Unbreakable variation seems pretty useless to me.
His better defense variation is Grandmaster and Cryomancer is an awesome offensive variation.
Grandmaster has better options for keeping away the opponent (IMO) than Unbreakable does.

I don't know what actually makes me like Sheeva, I just do. I thought she would be well-liked amongst the fans but I know that's never gonna happen. At least they have the decency to make her somewhat of a badass in the comics.

I also would like to mention that Liu Kang, is a boring character to me, and look what happened to him over the years. From a plain monk to a guy who can turn into a dragon... Jacqui might not be that well-liked out of the new cast, but at least she's decent enough to where if Jax were to never appear in the series again, she'd make a fine successor.

They gave her a hell of a remake in MK9, but even then she's still among the other characters like Jax, Stryker and Sindel that I never cared for from that era.

Don't worry. I like Sheeva as well. She was my go to character back when MK3 came out.

Unfortunately, NRS put zero effort into reinventing her for MK9.

Jacqui being boring or useless is entirely your opinion. I never said I hated Kotal Kahn nor does his role impress me. I personally wanted Mileena to remain ruler of Outworld. Perhaps I'm looking at this too deep, but it seems you have a rather "unique" reason for disliking Jacqui. Back to Kotal Kahn, I simply don't care for him. However if Kotal returns in MK11 and lived. I wouldn't be bother the slightest. Wonder if the said can be said about you and your particular disdain for Jacqui?

They didn't really reinvent anyone in MK9. Maaaybe you could argue Liu Kang. Everyone else was their usual pre-Armageddon self, which was bad news bears for all the villains.

Not really, imo.
Kenshi and Stryker both got a hell of a make-over in MK9, and this coming from someone who previously despised Stryker (still don't like him, but I totally respect the MK9 version) and felt "Ok" about Kenshi, whereas after MK9 I like him A LOT more.
Kenshi being made different from Ermac in MK9 is what made me realize that if NRS can make me a believer with Kenshi, then they've made me a believer that any character which people previously disliked can be made likeable (if done properly).

To be reinvented, you kinda have to have an identity to begin with.

Stryker wasn't in the films, wasn't in any of the adventure games, and wasn't in any of the Konquest modes. MK9 didn't reinvent him, it basically introduced us to him as a character.

The reason i don't like jacqui is that she has not given anything new to the game. She is just another military woman with no special thing going on for her. I feel that jacqui fits the types of tekken more than mk.

He did have an identity.
He was a playable character in the old timeline.
Despite people not liking him, he DID have a bio / story and identity, and he was playable.

Doesn't matter if he wasn't in any of the films or adventure games.
He's an original MK3 character, despite you not liking his identity in his debut appearance.
MK9 only introduced Cyber Sub-Zero.
All the other MK1 thru MKD characters in MK9 needed NO introduction as they were introduced roughly 20 years ago.
They ALL got reinvented in MK9 from what they used to be, and Kenshi and Stryker were the 2 biggest changes for the better, IMO.

Okay that's seems understandable. I don't exactly agree as a Jacqui fan. However actually hearing your reason for disliking her has definitely changed my mind about you and your view on Jacqui. I apologize for any annoyance I may have caused you.

Jacqui is a spammer. She can go to hell for all I care.

You know...

I think it's dumb to be hating on a character for being a character who can spam moves.

It's one of the dumbest reasons ever.
