Who Is The Best Ninja?

Im not going to vote on who's my favorite, but who I think is best...and im just going say it's either Sub-Zero or Scorpion. They both are unique, and both storylines were pretty good. There like equal, except ones ice and ones fire.
 
well i'd say sub-zero but he's not a _true_ ninja (remember in mkm: Sub-Zero he says he is not a ninja but Lin Kuei... they seem to get upset with the whole ninja thing)

actually scorpion is the true 'ninja' in the game, if you look into the history of mk (god i'm realizing what a geek i am right now) scorpion's clan (shiri ryu...sp?) was founded by an ex lin kuei.... making the two clans bitter rivals.... the japanese pretty much started the 'ninja' thing starting with scorpion's clan (this is mk world at any rate)... in china you were considered samuri... or in the mk world the lin kuei was the assination for hire place...

anywho i still like sub-zero :)
 
I thought in Japan you were considered Samurai. Not saying your wrong or anything. Best Male Ninja would be Image... if only I made up a story for him and moves...lol. Anyway, the best Male Ninja to me would be between Scorpion, Ermac or Noob Saibot. Best Female Ninja to me would be Jade, followed closely by Kitana.
 
What Female_Reptile wrote is very true. My vote goes to Sub-Zero despite all of these facts, Noob Saibot comes in second with Scorpion in third.

Samurai ARE ancient japanese warriors as Image wrote. They could more or less be compared to the knights of medieval England. And ninjas are also native to Japan. Ninjas and Samurais were seperate and to be a samurai you had to train and live under their code of honor and stuff like that. They had their master and trained under him and acted on his (or the emperor's) behalf usually only when instructed, they were very noble and honorable. When a samurais master was killed, or he went AWOL (the samurai not the master), or the samurai was ostracized from the clan he was no longer called a samurai, he became a Ronin (masterless samurai). And to become a ninja, simply learn the teachings of Ninjitsu. Something we can all still do today! hooray! Except there's lots that they taught back then that they won't teach the general public now-a-days. :cry:

If he had been fleshed out a little more fatality and move-wise, I'd say Ermac. If I could get the proper skill in all the male ninjas, Chameleon (plus they could give him an interesting little backstory). I guess, beyond those circumstances, I'd say Reptile (When I first got my little mitts on MK2 on SNES and saw his head eat fatality, I squealed like a girl.)
 
i'm still pretty sure ninja's are from japan and samuri are chinese... but despite all that the lin kuei will still cut your ears off if you call them a ninja one too many times.....
