What the, Shang Tsungs Fatality!?

I was at the fatality trainer and saw That Shang Tsungs fatality was like the Jokers fatality in MK vs DC. I think they were making fun of the fatality that was censored in the US version of MK vs DC. XD

Of coarse, I remember how syked I was to do that fatality, then when I bought the game it was all pussified.....

I'm glad they did this like saying UP YOURS
 
that's exaclty what they were doing... it's a joke about how shitty MK vs. DC is... so they made Shang Tsung's fatality the same as The Joker's brutality from MK vs. DC exept that in Shang Tsung's fatality you see the head explodes... everything eles is an exact copy of The Joker's brutality... even the sound is identical. i personally think its a waste of a good fatality slot, and they should've done this one a DLC fatality, and gave Shang Tsung, which can has very creative fatality due to his powers, a better and more serious fatality.

Your prob right.....I didn't play MK vs DCU so this fatality is new to me.....I'm glad they added it.....sorta reminds me of a friendship until he blows their brains out....LOL
 
Well i saw this fatality on the internet (before the release) and really hoped it was just a fake.

At least Shang Tsungs second fatality is aswm :)
 
Shang Tsung should of had a soul steal fatality where the body gets all shriveled. Or maybe a more gruesome version like ermac's soul ripper by piranha soldier
 
i wasnt impressed by them using a fatality slot for something so boring...shang tsung could have and should have had 1 classic fatality from MK2 ( soul steal ) .... and the kintaro morph as a bonus

im getting tired of the same drab shit when it comes to the MK team...it seems like they half ass a lot of details and then focus too much time somewhere else

how do the backgrounds look so great..yet sheeva looks like that?

also..was it just me or did anyone else see a resemblance of the world trade center on fire on the rooftop day stage?...

I'd love for him to have a Goro/Kintaro transformation, a la MKII.
 
YUp, NRS basically did that for the fans. I remember seeing Jokers unedited fatality and was pumped and then Im sure the Teen rating forced them to take it out. Now theyre giving it back to the fans!


Anyone try the Kintaro fatality? I wouldn't be surprised if they threw it in for Shang as a hidden secret. Hold low punch for 25-30 secs was it?
 
I don't see why they needed to "give it back to the fans", since all the fans have already seen it before in youtube videos anyway. Just seems like a really, really lazy excuse for a fatality. I could understand throwing it in as an extra fatality or a cool secret fatality or something, but not as one of his main two, its just such a useless waste.
 
Most retarded fatality in the entire game. They should have NEVER given this to Shang, who is probably one of the most "serious" characters in MK. They go through all the trouble of making him into a badass aged kung fu master, or a young nefarious sorcerer, and then they have him turn into a f***ing retarded clown for his MAIN fatality. WTF NRS? You couldn't have just put this stupid s*** in the challenge tower as an NPC? You HAD to ruin Shang with it? F*** you whoever made that decision.

I don't even want to play as Shang anymore. There's something wrong in a world where I'm actually hyped to play as Kano, but just don't want anything to do with Shang Tsung.

Just because of a fatality? You don't have to do the fatality, you know....It's a really stupid fatality, I agree 100%, but I wouldn't refuse to play as someone just because of it. Raiden hasn't always had the best fatalities but, whatever, I will never refuse to play as him <3

To each his own, I guess. Does make Shang a bit lamer, though, but he is still a great character in general, imo.
