Well, I think it would be neat is they did something like SC3 did, where the character you play in konquest is a completely new fighter (male or female). You could change his/her appearance with some items you’ve found, and they could have status effects, like amour reduced damage and such.

For attacking style, (I got this idea from fighting with Blaze) that your first fight will be with Bo Ri CHo or something, as you "train" with other charas you can take one of their fighting styles, (2 normal 1 weapon) ex. Raiden's jujitsu, Kung Lao's shaloin fist, and Havik's morning star (this is only an ex, I don’t know who’s going to be there or who has what)

and as for special moves, i think he should go the way of Shujinko and get every fighters Signature special move (Scorpion's spear, Sub-Zero freeze, Lu Kang's bike kick)

what you guys think?
 
You know? That's a great idea. Having your own character as well as buying and unlocking moves, choosing your own styles and weapons and making him/her they way you want it would be awesome.
 
I like everything you said, except for getting everybodies signiture moves. I just think it's way to cheap having the best moves in the game.

Now I really love the idea of being able to use anyone's special moves, by whatever means...maybe like some sort of FFX sphere grid deal...but that would be a little complex. Something like that would be nice, Liu Kang with the ability to freeze would rock.
