What does this Boon tweet mean?

Sony has had and is getting their share of exclusives too so I have no idea where this thought that PS3 has never had an exclusive before comes from. Both companies have had exclusives for multiplatform games.

Why is it that on any forum no one can state an opinion or ask a simple question concerning one console or the other without the next comment saying "quit *****ing" or "oh no another fanboy". I own every current gen system so I am about as non-fanboy as it goes

And for the ones that say blame Microsoft for this or blame Sony for that...no one holds a gun to these developers heads to go to the console makers and offer exclusives. They could easily just say we are making the games equal and leave it at that.

It's 2 different consoles with 2 different focus'.
Microsoft prefers to push shooter games, because that's what it's exclusives are mainly known for. (halo, gears of war, etc)
sony gaming is more known for hack and slash and fighting.
Soooo guess who decided to pay more for exclusives?
Sony.

Shut the hell up about the exclusives and be happy you're getting your full fledged mk reboot with no extra characters.

THANK YOU! Except, I have both systems, but I know when one version is better than another. And the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat is superior.

boons posted some interesting new tweets saying how nr have a few more big suprises in store before release and that people should not believe everyting they read which is referring to the magazien article that claim to know the 360 exclusives.

Ragnarok is right. Microsoft is all about shooters and PS3 is more RPG / Hack and Slash / Fighting. Throw some adventure in there too if you want.

And yes, the 360 exclusives are fake, there won't be puzzle kombat or pit 3.
 
The "big reveals" could just be the rest of the roster officially being announced or maybe more DLC plans.

(if all of the roster has been officially announced through NRS/WB then strike that first part)
 
I really do dislike the word "superior." Leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Essentially, you're gonna have to wait at least a couple more days to find out if/what the x360 exclusive is.

I think it is more of the fact that some 360 owners feel ignored by NRS and just get teased by the dollar attatched to the string trick. Which of course, isn't just exclusive to the 360. but, some may feel as so.

If they were to have just come out and have said, "Hey, sorry 360 owners, we won't have exclusive content for you", I wouldn't be mad. They came out and told us. But, they have taken the route of "Just talked to GoW's creator" or "we got something big planned" to build hype and build hype for something that may not be there. Of course, it's just Boon being Boon, so I'm not mad, but I guess I can see how those that are...are?
 
Karma for what? I have seen just as many PS3 and 360 fans acting like idiots and blindly spouting off without a serious reponse to go with it on various message boards, forums, etc. If this was reversed and the PS3 users were voicing their displeasure about the situation I would agree with them and back up anything they said. I seriously hope one day I can read anything video game related and not have to sift through the usual "Sony rules, Microsoft Sucks" or "Microsoft rules, Sony sucks" remarks.

Are there supporters of 360 that are jerks? Yes
Are there supporters of PS3 that are jerks? Yes

You can't label the entire community of either console based on the rantings of a few.

This wasn't directed at anyone here and hopefully no one takes any offense to it. It is just an observation on this entire console generation in general.

also I agree with Osmodius. If they would have just said point blank "No 360 exclusives" from the start it would have sucked but would have blown over after a few days.

I'd also like to see where this whole misconception of "360 owners are whining when this is the first time we [PS3 owners] get something" started. Seems to me, people like to act as if the ones who own the console are the reason behind it. Hell, I am a 360 owner and I wish the time exclusives and other exclusives would be a thing of the past. We are all gamers and obviously all fans of the same series, so companies shouldn't be splitting us (if that makes sense...).

I mean, yes, there are some douchebags who will go on PS3 boards and say "nananana we got it first", but like Deejay said, there are jerks on both consoles. Not every 360 owner is like that.

Plus one thing, to me that has never sense on the timed exclusive animosity is that, if you only have a 360, how does it affect you if a PS3 owners gets it the same day or vice versa?
 
Now, I would never usually involve myself with such idiotic fanboy threads like this. But I just want to say one thing.

Gamers are spoiled as hell. People are never happy with just the core game. Now through dlc and such, gamers are wanting more and more. People always want more maps, more characters, more weapons. And, if one console gets a measly little 1up on a multi platform and the other doesn't, people go crazy. It's a shame that people have to be so self-entitled about things they should be lucky to be playing in the first place.

This. I grew up without DLC and I can surely live without it, but it seems that this game especially, youre gonna miss out on a lot if you dont buy the kontent. Thats the only reason why, I barely have any DLC on my console that are game add-ons.
 
Well, umm i'm no Fanboy but I know that PS3 is jealous that XBOX360 has Gears Of War 1,2,3(Soon). I love gears of war.

LOL, basically, which I find so stupid considering I am a 360 owner and I dont care one bit. The exclusive kontent that they are getting for the full game means nothing to me and most 360 MK players, the demo means nothing to me as both consoles are gonna have the same game in the end (minus Kratos for 360) and 3D is meaningless as I dont own a 3D TV. If I were to *****, I would call myself a tool.
