HAHAHA!!! WHO CALLED IT!?!? I told you guys Disturbed's "Another Way To Die" was a PERFECT musical summarry of this game's story mode! :D

Can someone summarize the story for me without ruining the major points and just have minor parts that include some characters that I like, mostly Reptile, scorpion, Cyber Sub (loving it already), ermac, noob, smoke, and Jax, thanks ^_^

"I mean seriously, WTF?! Since when did Kang become so disliked that he can be disposed of so easily? Meh I called it tho.. I had a feeling that he would be slain again. So not cool, but then again, It's not my game." While others are in favor of this new storyline (and I mean no disrespect) I however am not. I would have rather my main man rebel and become a darker version of his previous self than to be killed off and being pictured as a naive, arrogant weakling.. Don't get me wrong, The game is going to own face but, The champion of MK dying? again? = a joke.

how is he being implied as weak, the only one that was able to defeat him was raiden, a god. it would be expected that the god of thunder could kill lui kang

I think Liu will come back my friend. Remember MK4 and Johnny or MKD and Onaga reviving the dead alliance against the DA? [Kitana/etc.] It's even possible that in MK4 Quan Chi will revive them. Besides, I think we need some change from Liu Kang killing everyone all the time.

Read my original post smart one, I said if this stuff gets out of this thread and posted in others WITHOUT SPOILER TAGS. And Im only reenforcing the rules of the forum dude, I suggest you read them. Dont read selected text and jump the gun.
 
Simply superb, story-fans will definitely appreciate all the effort done by NRS to make this story. I don't like the deaths but if it must be, it must be.
 
There is a site that the leaks are even better. it has the names of the people talking, so much easier to understand what a hell is going on.

Im worried about the next MK (MK10) it will be an awful game because we wont have:

Sub-Zero because it turns into a cyborg and we wont have liu kang, nightwolf, kitana, kung lao and so much other characters because they freaking die in this mk!

Doesn't necessarilly they aren't in the next game, just that they aren't in the story. Just like Kratos on the PS3.

Yeah well we still have Raiden and Shang Tsung and folks like them. Also because the next game has them fighting the Netherream, I can see the return of Ashrah in the near future.
 
Turning into an automated machine doesn't mean crap. Subby regains his soul and memories, remember that, and death is far from permanent in MK.
