Wanna know how to choose the secondary color for your fighter's outfit?

Don't think this has been talked about at all yet. But ya know how if you play a match against the same character as you're fighting with, the other's color is different?...As in, you choose Scorpion, and you have to face him, but instead of your opponent being yellow, his color is orange. So yeah, I figured out how to choose that orange outfit, or whatever secondary color you want for whatever fighter. So here we go...when choosing your fighter, press the start button (or whatever button is equal to that on the Xbox)...a menu will pop up, asking you so slide to which outfit you want to choose, so whichever one you're going to choose, simply press the start button...instead of the normal selection button. Now you're outfit, will be it's secondary color. Hope this is helpful for anyone that's interested.

Also, once you've done this, via practice mode, ladder, or whatever mode ya want...you can then go to the Nekropolis, and view the alternate colored outfits in there. To do this, move to whichever fighter you wanna look at, press and hold the start button, and then press X (whatever those buttons are for the Xbox)...then just choose whichever bio ya want, and it should be the secondary color. PLEASE NOTE though, I haven't figured out how to turn that secondary color off in the Nekropolis, the only way I've been able to turn it off, is by literally quitting out of the entire game, and then going back into it, and then it'll be re-set to the primary colors.

I can't believe nobody even bothered to respond to this thread! WONDERFUL THREAD since I didn't know this yet until now. wow, im gonna go try this. good job!

Good tip ! Some secondary colors are better than the original one. For example, Mileena's secondary purple tone is better than her original pink costume.

Interesting. So this means they prepared the game and might be thinking to release color packs after all. Just hope they really do.

You can also press start when selecting your stage and it will play the original old-school arcade music (works on most MK1,2, & 3 stages)
