I take a look at MK pavillion once a month... I only found it then... And another thing. I swear its a consiparcy! EVERY contest I enter I end up as entry no.3. This is like the third time in a row I'm no.3.

Yay! I won! But i did not steal Ryu's thing. I seriuosly never did notice they were the same. I was looking around for a sprite that was getting shocked and used smoke. I use Rain well becuase there are now alot of sprites of him and using Raiden was kinda too obvious. So please don't think i cheated, i swear i didn't. Good job to all who entered and all who won! See ya at next fake contest!

Thank God for proving me correct. I knew you/the creator didn't steal someone elses idea. I mean it isn't that hard to tell the differences between that flash and the fake. BTW I think KORE was just a little pissed at the moment. (It happens sometimes after he gets back from work XP)


BTW I must say nice job.

#1 if you didn't steal it i guess i'll take your word for it. technically no one can prove either way. so i'll give you it. either way though Inferno.... you must admit that it's one hell of a coincidence.

#2 i'm not generally in a bad mood pheonix. but when i am, people have learned to brush it off as you have. for the record though, i felt completely calm when i made that post.

Jesus, I am glad I didn't enter. Would have been too easy. All the fakes were very, very, sub-par.

To everyone who entered this contest:
1. Take some time and look at your fake.
2. Try and tell me you thought you could win.
3. Next time, put some time into the actual fake.
4. Please, experiment with your programs and your techniques.
5. Umm, don't...make...shit? (easy way to put it?)
 
I don't enter to win... I know I spent a good time on mine (5 hours) making sure everything was acurate pixel per pixel as far as bars go and worked on making a custom background... I checked out Raiden's fatalities and so forth to get it as close to MK2 as possible.

But in the end I enter for fun and to say 'Hey I entered, sure what I entered was crap, but I entered'. And its fun seeing others tell me whats wrong with my work... Its also fun to see how everyone rates against each other. Everyone has different rates of skill and interprutations of each contest, its nice to see others work and be able to say 'Hey, thats how I should of done mine' or 'Hey, why didn't I come up with that!'.

You never entered, so you can't say diddly squat about how good your entry would of been or anything like that. You can tell us to do better but you can't say how good your would of been. Even if you have excellant skills no entry = no say.

Next time enter, we'll judge if you should win or not. You can't have bragging rights unless you enter and win. InfernoScorpion won so for this contest he has bragging rights. You want to be able to say yours is the golden fake, then enter the next contest.
 
I know this is a bit late. Mine was the sixth one (The raiden kick). And for everyone who thought it was the same person it was not cause i didnt do 2 of them and why would i
 
I was actually remaking my fake and it was ALOT better, i then accidentally deleted it, freaked out (when i say freak out i mean FREAK OUT), and becuase of my tantrum i got grounded from the comp for a bit. So i didn't get a chance to remake it.

I await this challenge. Whatever satisfies you and the rest of the people here. Heh, since I see this as a challenge, it will be easier to maintain drive to finish something.
 
I was midely disappointed with the entries in this contest. Usually all of the good fake creators enter and it's a 3-way competition. But either way, whether the graphics were good or not, people still participated, and that's what makes the contest a contest.

If I could I would award every entree 100 Karma for participating. In my opinion, it's not right to talk about how bad someones fake is if you don't enter yourself.

I know it's too late for the karma award, so I'll just say I vote for everyone! ^.^
