Some franchises handle it really well imo.
Mortal Kombat, Fallout, GTA and Mass Effect all had really solid DLC.

You don't seem to understand that NRS isn't withholding things from our discs Capcom style (With the exception of the Klassic costumes and Skarlett's alt in MK9) they are adding things to our already completed games.

New modes are always hit or miss. I probably played Test Your Luck a total of 15 times.

I agree with you and I only played test your luck in challenge tower when it was necessary I guess im in the minority I would rather it all be on disc but at the same time this the only video game series where I would gladly dish out money for every doc and I want more characters and loads of skins like injustice but more

Besides, you can pick and choose who you buy. Unlike SFxT where you had to buy all the characters at once.

People want more support for MK X after it is out.
8 - 10 DLC characters doesn't mean that you buy them all.
Plus, there are compatibility packs (or hopefully compatibility patches this time around) for the people who don't buy the characters, thus eliminating people getting screwed from using those DLC characters online.

I could see a few MK9 classics coming back via DLC.
If that's the case, and characters like 50 year old Sonya, or Johnny or Kitana, or Kabal were DLC, yeah I sure as hell would add them to my MK X roster.

You know me Jorge, I'm going to buy them all, it's freaking MK! :P

I'd rather there be some paid and some free. Obviously NRS isn't going to pull a Namco and make them all free. I don't know, I think DLC characters are a quick money grab. There are other ways of supporting the game after release besides paying for characters IMO.

Same here.

I get that, and hopefully some of the classic or MK9 ones like Sonya, Johnny, Kitana and Kabal are unlockable in MK X, like CSZ and Quan Chi were in MK9.
After you beat that chapter in story mode, they get unlocked.
Maybe a couple others can be in the Krypt (1 or 2 of the dead ones).
I just really want MK X to be supported after, like Injustice was.
I don't mind a few MK9 characters being unlockable or DLC, if it means that some new characters get the chance to shine or be expanded on.

How would Quan Chi have ever been where he's at now, if we never gave him the light of day in MK4, in 1997?
 
I want six Dlc at least.
And I'd prefer to unlock half or more of the playable characters. I get bored quicker if their all there from the start. I actually want to work for it. . Like in Mkda and MkD I loved it that way. I'd unlock a brand new character I've never heard of before and I'd play them to death until I got new one :)
