UMK3 cheats not working for my SNES?

I have Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on SNES. I tried to activate cheats, But it goes nothing I tried to press Right, Up, B, B, A, Down, Up, B, Down, Up, B for Kool Stuff, But it goes nothing. I tried to press Up, B, A, Left, Down, Y for Kooler Stuff, But it goes nothing I tried to press B, A, Down, Down, Left, A, X, B, A, B, Y for Scott's Stuff. But it goes nothing I can activate sound test by pressing Left, Down, Y, Y. What I did wrong? Please help me

Prolly just the speed your doing it at. Old game cheats were pretty unforgiving

How you fix that problem? I need to play as Shao Kahn and Motaro in 2 player mode

Practice the inputs and try inputting the cheat at different speeds

If there is a code for one button cheat like in MK3, I wish

I'm not sure if emulation has an effect, but I was able to input the codes with Snes8x very slowly. I even waited a few seconds to before finishing and they still worked.
