UK Kollectors edition only £49.99 at GAME!...rrp £69.99

Really? Weird! Did they say why?

My KE is with Game, I did notice that it doesn't come up in searches anymore but they haven't canceled my KE.

And nope not found a KE with any other UK retailers (but there might be some in the rest of Europe)
 
This is what they said:

Unfortunately (as stated on our website (http://www.game.co.uk/help/Shipping.aspx), we do not ship items over 1kg internationally and we are therefore not able to fulfil your order, which has now been cancelled.
No money has been taken from your account for this order.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience and disappointment this may have caused.

Am in the same boat, live in Ireland and got an email today saying that game had cancelled my pre-order for the same reason as you Patrick. I got an email 90 mins later saying that they had cancelled my order "because of a request you made to Customer Services or that the product has been cancelled by the publisher". I made no such request and the game hasn't been cancelled. I sent an angry email back and they gave me a BS reply saying they weren't to know how much it would weigh etc.

My closest game shop is a two hour drive away. I love MK and can't wait for this game but I'm not going to get someone to drive me to it (I don't drive) and I won't be taking the bus up just for it.

Anyone know of any other retailers? My french is a bit rusty so getting it from amazon.fr isn't really an option.

Same here. On the claim that it is over 1kg and therefore cannot be shipped internationally.
Bummer, since I actually have a friend in the UK I could've sent it to, but since it's sold out, I can't place another order.
I sent them an email about it, and now suddenly, the customer service is having a "temporary site issue".

I placed the order back in March, they should have warned me in advance so I could change the shipping address. Now I'm kinda screwed.
Amazon.fr has both the KE and the TE but they can't ship here (at least they have the decency to tell me BEFORE I place an order...)

Any solutions?
 
Damn that's crap for you guys. If they said before selling out, I would of been willing take orders and ship them myself.
 
I had the same problem with StarCraft II CE. TBH I don't understand why they can't ship it while amazon.co.uk makes no problem with that.
Pre-ordered it in Polish shop and I hope Scorpion's fatality will be obtainable pretty soon after release. :P

Probably because they sent out those emails today and are getting spammed by all the people that they screwed over. In a reply I got they told me that they had no idea that it would weigh more than 1kg and they only found out today. In all fairness, a game, a 110 page art book, a statue of two figurines on a platform and the box they come in are heavier than 1kg, you don't need common sense to tell you that so how they only found out today is beyond me. They pretty much just blanked me. I have family and friends in the UK that could've just shipped it to me but GAME said my order was cancelled and it couldn't be amended, end of. No offense to other users but I can understand them not shipping to America, Canada, Middle East, Mainland Europe etc but when they've bought the exclusive rights to sell it in Ireland and the UK you'd think that they would f*cking ship to Ireland instead of ignoring us.

That's exactly the email I got. That's why I usually go with Amazon or even Zavvi, they tell me beforehand whether an item can be shipped to me or not.

I really wanted that statue, now I have to import from the US which will be really expensive since Amazon's policy on shipping video games internationally is only using Priority Courier ($50).

Bah. Total buzzkill.
 
Actually, is the game region free on the xbox? If it is, getting it from amazon.com works out at about 10 euros more expensive than game and you'd also get those kick ass bookends.

Does that shop have a website? Looking for a place that will ship to the US.

Is GAME the only place that is shipping the KE in the UK? Any other European shops people know can ship international?
