Yea when it started they were calling names and alot were missing lol

Were you there when the last two people fought for the tournament , one guy was using Sub Zero all the time.

Ah, dude I was facing the last guy and the f** trapped at the end of the screen and kept doing a damn ice clone, if felt like an infinite. A kombo then a ice clone so I couldn't move anywhere.
Kool thing is they gave me a shirt for runner up ^__^, and then afterwards a shirt to my dad bro and girlfriend,

Oh did you see those 2 guys dressed as Sub Zero and Scorpion.

Ahh dang that sucks bro, haha. I was getting pissed off at Scorpion to be honest, dude is so fast and his x-ray is hard to block. Dang nice. Yeah those people who were running it are really nice people. They gave my family and girl a shirt as well. Yeah saw them xD

Dude dude , did you see when they showed the video, I discovered myself when I tried the Arcade ladder by myself and then that long video came up, it was funny becuz everyone paused there screens when that happened

Yea That was MEEE. I was with my girlfriend and we shared the a TV, I asked her if I can try the Ladder, she says go ahead, Im like Hell Yeah.
So then I try it on Expert, that shit was hard, like Mk2 3 hard, so lol I went to options and put it on begginer no timer and 1 round so I could beat it fast.
When I finnaly beat all four characters goro was next, I called that black dude with the glasses and told him I was gonna fight him, He was like naw your lying, so THEN i resume the game and then that AWESOME video came up, ALL THAT MONTAGE WAS SWEEET. Fatality, X Ray, seeing Baraka and Shang Tsung and Ermac sweet. Freaking epic when the last clip was Strykers Fatality.

Awesome also to see Dan Forden, I finnally saw him after being there for 3 hours

Haha that's awesome! I wanted to try the ladder out but I was with friends or random people so I didn't wanna stop them from playing. Well good thing you made that discovery, I wish I could have recorded it. The toasty is awesome huh?!
 
DCP did you get to do Johnny Cage's charge punch?
If so, is it an enhanced move?
Do other characters have charge moves as well, or just Johnny Cage?

For a reference as to what I'm talking about, go to the 9:48 mark in the video.




(I know the video is from E3, but I've seen Johnny Cage doing this move in some of the more recent videos as well.)

Yes sir I did. His charge punch is hold Back + Triangle. Not an enhanced move, just part of his regular moves. Umm, well to be honest I only pulled off a charge move with JC and Sub. Not sure abot Scorpion or Mileena since I didnt play them as much. Sorry bro :|

Wow, that sucks dude, hope there aren't many in the final version!
I'd like that guy who complained about breakers to read this and figure himself being trapped in a corner without any chance to get out...
 
so it looks like the characters will have a 'focus' attack like in sf4, that is so sick, i love it
 
indeed, the first thing I tought seeing cage's charge move (and now hearing sub zero) was focus attack. hmm....
freeze-->charge/focus-->combo :D

yo watch this video, it shows johnny cage use the 'focus' attack a couple of times, as well as use it as a combo starter, there is another video that shows it being interrupted and it only took 1 hit to interrupt it.

the first time he uses it is around 1:12 in the video

Not sure if this has been asked/answered yet... but it sounds like you went a couple of days to the event so you might know. They are suppose to be in Austin Fri/Sat this weekend and I was wondering if you had any guess on what time they'd probably open shop on Friday (what was their schedule in Cali for example)? Thanks in advance guys.

That looks wicked, glad to know they can be interrupted, and it is basically used as a stunner to lead to more devastating combos. They have went a long way with the fight mechanics, this is brilliant guys.
