Okay, this may be a little off topic, but it has to do with mortal kombat, so I figure I would post it here. I was bored, so I've decided to Translate all of the Mortal kombat kombatants to see if there is any meaning. This would either show for some storyline development, or for some chuckles:
The following Translations were made by me.. bish:
Japanese - English
English - Japanese
I found the japanese to english translations rather interesting. Kenshi's "Investigation of Death"... think about it, in todays society, there are people who tell us that they can read minds among the dead... like that John Edward or whatever his name is. He says he can speak to the dead using is mind... kenshi uses his mind.. investigation of death.. you see the connection?
Another one I thought was relatively interesting, was Shujinko. "Main Character" or the "Protagonist". In Mortal Kombat: Deception Shujinko basically played the role of the main character, as it seemed that Liu Kang was in the passenger seat. Could Shujinko be the next Liu Kang? I don't know..
Also, Baraka; "Good Thorns".. since when did Baraka play the role of being good? Maybe the original concept of Ed Boon and his Booninites was to have Baraka be good, and be the.. protector of Liu Kang.. or is he hiding something? If so, wouldn't that mean that the race which Baraka dwells be allies with Liu Kang?
