Matter of fact, let's leave out Sub-Zero entirely out of the story for a little while and bring in Sub-Zero's full Cryomancer father instead

This isn't really true because not all of the endings have the character defeating Shao Kahn

Besides an ending doesn't have to be just fully canon or non-canon, it can be partly canonical (for example, Jax's ending in MK4, Cyrax's in MK3 and Mileena's in Deception, hell even Ermac's and Smoke's endings in MK9)

You know I actually wouldn't mind the idea of their father coming in. It would be so awesome if he just came in and pimp slapped raiden like "what the hell you thinkin fool?"lol

The only real problem I have with it is isn't he dead too? I thought he was a member of the Lin Kuei as well and abducted his children to join? That was just in the old timeline though wasn't it? The New timeline confuses me. In the New timeline he was just random guy who got murdered along with the mom. I don't know what's what in the new timeline though.lol. A true retelling would not only have made me happier, but it also would have been waaaaay less confusing for me.

No he's still alive. his kids where taken it doesn't say anything about him after that. He could also bring his daughter along with him.

That is all it say's, both of their parents are still alive. Unless there are parts of the story I missed.

I don't think he was dead lol he was the one to take the two Sub-Zeros to train in the Lin Kuei in the old timeline. NRS never really mentioned anything about him at all in the new timeline

Maybe he barely survived from the Lin Kuei's attack when they attacked him and kidnapped his sons, or maybe he just wasn't around at the time and it was just their mother home with them

That is weird that they didn't mention anything about the father of the two after that. I hate that we have to rely on assumptions on some of this stuff. Why can't they just show it?

He could bring some funny moments though.lol. Like "Really, Really Raiden you couldn't save either of my sons? I'll remember that at the Christmas Party this year."
